March 1, 2024
This morning, meet with our Tour Director and your new Sisters for breakfast and a welcome meeting. Next, we’ll head out on a guided sightseeing tour that includes Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial and Museum, the Punchbowl National Cemetery, Chinatown, the Hawaii State Capitol, ‘Iolani Palace, and Kamehameha the Great statue. March 3, 2024
This morning, we’ll board our group flight to the “Big Island” of Hawaii. Upon arrival in Hilo on the east coast, we’ll drive to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Here, you’ll see Kilauea Crater, rising 4,090 feet above a volcanic wonderland of steaming fire pits, lava tubes, and fern forests.
Next, we’ll enjoy an included lunch followed by a stop at Punalu’u Bake Shop to sample the famous Hawaiian sweetbread introduced to the area by Portuguese sugar workers in the 19th century. This traditional treat is not to be missed!

This morning, we’ll visit the Kona Coffee Living History Farm, a working coffee and macadamia nut farm, where we’ll have the opportunity to learn about the history of Kona’s coffee industry and the remarkable pioneers who established these farms.
Tonight, you’re in for a treat as we join together for a festive luau. You’ll have the chance to learn to hula, try some traditional Hawaiian specialties like poi, and see captivating performances by Polynesian musicians and dancers. (Breakfast, Dinner) Hotel: Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa

This morning, we’ll take a scenic flight to the “Garden Isle” of Kauai, whose lush landscapes featuring orchids, hibiscus, and plumeria are often used as a setting for Hollywood films depicting tropical paradise.
Once we arrive, we’ll drive to Kilohana Plantation for a special lunch. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a narrated train ride that takes us on a tour of the historic plantation that passes through fruit orchards, lush gardens, and tropical farmland. Today, spend the day as you please with your Sisters! Take in refreshing ocean breezes from the beautiful white-sand beaches, immersing yourself in the heart of the island’s beauty. Enjoy free time to relax and enjoy your oceanfront resort. Optional tours include helicopter flightseeing or a zipline adventure in the mountains. This evening we’ll meet for an included dinner. Drive to Waimea, once the Polynesian capital of Kauai and the site where Captain Cook landed in the islands in 1778. Sightseeing highlights include Waimea Canyon, the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” and Hanapepe Valley. A stop at the largest coffee plantation in Hawaii, Kauai Coffee Plantation, includes time at the visitor center, where you can learn about coffee production and the history of the Kauai Coffee Company. En route back to our hotel, we’ll see Spouting Horn, the famous blowhole created from a lava tube. Our morning flight takes us to the “Valley Island” of Maui. We’ll drive to the lush `Iao Valley to see the `Iao Needle, a spectacular volcanic spire. Today, we’ll enjoy an included cruise where we’ll search for the humpback whales that populate the waters. We’ll be accompanied by expert marine Naturalists who will spot the gentle giants and provide educational narration. From the deck of the boat, enjoy beautiful views of Lahaina. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- The maximum number of Sisters on this trip is 40, including your Group Leaders.
- We are happy to match you with a roommate for this tour. You can just simply click on the box on the booking form asking that we match you. Roommate matches will not be finalized until after final payments.
- Airfare to and from Hawaii is not included in your pricing. You will fly into Honolulu (HNL) and out of Maui (OGG). All flight arrangements must be submitted to Sisterhood Travels on or before December 15, 2023. If you need help making your flight arrangements, you can click here for Airfare Information.
- You have 3 intra-air group flights included in your pricing. We cannot provide you with flight times for these group flights in advance of your trip. You will not have individual reservations on these flights.
- Hawaiian Air charges a checked bag fee of $25 per bag for the 1st checked bag, per routing and $35 for a second checked bag thereafter. You are responsible for paying the bag fee(s) and can pay directly to the Tour Director in cash to the Tour Director who will check bags as a group.
- Our arrival and departure transfers are private for our group members and are available on February 29 and March 12. If you need transfers outside of these dates, we can arrange them for you but they will be at an additional cost to you.
- Hotels and itineraries are subject to change without notice due to operational or logistical concerns.
- Optional Travel Insurance is not included in your pricing. We will send you a quote via email.
- Any optional expenses or expenses related to anything not specifically listed in this itinerary are not included.
