Start in Melbourne, end in Nadi, Fiji, and overnight along the way in Alice Springs, Uluru (Ayers Rock), Cairns, and Sydney.

It would take a lifetime to explore all of Australia so we’ve deliberately selected the best highlights of this amazing and wonderful destination. Because we know there is so much to see in each location, we’ve designed this trip so that you have a lot of free time to make your own choices as to what you want to experience with your Sisters. There will be many optional activities for you to choose from, and we want this trip to be everything you dreamed it would be. In fact, we haven’t even boxed you into a scheduled breakfast every morning – we’re going to provide you with a gift card so that you can choose where and what you’d like to eat!

March 20, 2023

Welcome to Australia! Hotel rooms are available for immediate check-in. A pre-night is not required for early check-in. March 21, 2023

This morning begins with a welcome briefing to meet our Tour Director. Then, we’ll enjoy a city sightseeing tour which includes landmarks such as Flinders St. Station, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the botanic gardens, and the Shrine of Remembrance. The afternoon is free to explore on your own. Our Tour Director will have suggestions for additional sightseeing, shopping, and dining. Hotel: Citadines on Bourke

March 22, 2023

Today, we’ll have a full free day to explore more of Melbourne on our own. You may wish to consider a day tour to the scenic Great Ocean Road to see the “Twelve Apostles” or travel to Phillip Island and witness the famous Penguin Parade. Don’t worry! We’ll provide you with your options long before we depart so that you can choose where and with whom you’d like to spend the day! Hotel: Citadines on Bourke

March 23, 2023

This morning, we’re going to fly to the Outback and visit the School of the Air and the Royal Flying Doctor Service to learn how education and medical services are provided in remote regions (subject to opening times). We’ll also visit the Old Telegraph Station to discover how early settlers developed communications. Hotel: Mercure Alice Springs

March 24, 2023

Today, we’re going to journey through the heart of the Outback, keeping a lookout for red kangaroos, dingoes, camels, and feral horses, known as “Brumbies.” Upon arrival, we’ll travel to a popular lookout to enjoy views of the magnificent Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), a geological splendor of some 36 brilliant domes. Later, visit the Sunset Strip, where we will enjoy a champagne toast while experiencing one of the world’s greatest spectacles–Uluru at sunset. Hotel: Outback Pioneer Hotel & Lodge

This morning, we’ll enjoy a tour at the base of Uluru, the extraordinary monolith whose circumference is studded with caves decorated with Aboriginal paintings. In the afternoon, we’ll fly to Cairns, the “Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.” Hotel: Park Regis City Quays

The world’s largest coral reef, made up of over 3,000 individual reefs and over 1,250 miles long, is one of our planet’s most amazing natural wonders. We’ll board a catamaran cruise to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Experience this underwater world that is a dazzling kaleidoscope of color and brilliance. You can choose to snorkel, take a glass-bottom-boat tour, view the reef from an underwater observatory, and watch a fish feeding. We’ll return to Cairns, where our evening is at leisure. Today is yours to relax and explore. Set amid lush rainforests, soaring peaks, and the ocean, Cairns is one of Australia’s most popular tourist destinations. It has many attractions including a scenic railway, which runs to the picturesque market town of Kuranda and a cable car that glides over Australia’s World-Heritage-listed tropical rainforest canopy. Sydney boasts one of the most beautiful harbors in the world, home to the instantly recognizable Sydney Harbour Bridge and the world-famous architectural wonder–the Sydney Opera House. This morning, our sightseeing tour will take us through the heart of Sydney. We’ll end the day with a harbor cruise along Sydney Harbour for uninterrupted views of the city skyline. Today, you’ll be able to enjoy a full day at leisure for your own discoveries with your Sisters. You may wish to wander the cobblestone streets of the Rocks district, explore vibrant Darling Harbour, or climb to the top of Sydney’s Harbour Bridge. This morning, we’ll fly from Sydney to Nadi, Fiji and transfer to our resort on the Coral Coast. We’ll spend the next three nights on one of the most majestic islands in the South Pacific. Hotel: Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa

This tour will have a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 44 women (including your Sisterhood Travels Group Leaders)
All travelers are required to have an Electronic Travel Authority(ETA) Visa for Australia. If you are flying through New Zealand, you’ll need an additional ETA for New Zealand. The cost is approximately $20.00 and we will assist you with this process at the appropriate time.
International airfare from the United States is NOT included – only your four intra-country flights are included in your tour price. We will assist you in obtaining your airfare due to the complicated nature of arrival and departure times.
At the time of your travel, you are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Due to the ever-changing rules and regulations, this requirement could change prior to final payment and/or departure
We are unable to accommodate mobility assist devices such as wheelchairs and walkers on this tour.
