Depart from local gateway where you will board your overnight flight for Reykjavik, Iceland.
February 26, 2023
We promise that the minute you smell the air in Iceland, you’ll believe you are in another atmosphere…clean, crisp, and fresh! After clearing customs, our driver will be waiting to take us to our visit at the Viking Museum where we’ll enjoy breakfast. On arrival in the northernmost capital in the world we will take a city tour of Reykjavik before visiting The Pearl for a wonderful Exhibit of Wonders of Iceland, including a man- made ice tunnel. This visit also includes a Northern Lights Planetarium show. This evening we will venture out for an exciting Super Jeep northern lights hunt after our Welcome Dinner at the hotel.

Today, we’ll take a full day guided private tour to the stunning Thingvellir National Park, Kerið volcanic crater, the Geysir hot springs and the magical Gullfoss- and Faxi waterfalls. As you see these exquisite signs of nature, you’ll realize that we are but a tiny fraction of this planet. We will also enjoy a visit to a charming Icelandic farm where you are in for a special tasting of homemade ice cream.

Today will be full of surprises as we head out on our full-day guided private coach tour along the South Shore, where you’ll see all kinds of natural phenomena including active volcanoes, glaciers, waterfalls and stunning rock formations on black lava beaches. Lucky us…we’ll also enjoy an Icelandic dinner in the countryside on our way back this evening!

Today we will be heading west on a full day, magical private group tour to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and surroundings. We’ll return to Reykjavik in the late afternoon. You’ll have time to relax in the Hotel Spa before our included 3-course dinner at the hotel.

- The maximum number on this tour will be 44 women including your Sisterhood Travels Group Leaders
- Roundtrip airfare from the U.S. is not included in the price. Due to tour scheduling, return flights should not be booked prior to 4:00 p.m. on the last day. Click Here for Airfare Information
- At the time of your booking, Iceland does not require that you be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Due to the ever-changing rules and regulations, this could change prior to final payment and/or departure.
- We are unable to accommodate mobility assist devices such as wheelchairs and walkers on this tour. Travelers should be in reasonably good health and able to meet the demands of the activity level for the trip.
- You must be able to manage your own luggage without assistance.
- If you need a roommate, we will be happy to match you to another traveler but we will not assign your roommate until final payments are made. If you have asked us to match you, you do not need to search for one in our Facebook group. See Need a Roommate? below for more information.
- Your passports must be valid for at least six months beyond your return date to the United States
