After you pass through immigration and customs, your driver will be waiting for you in the Arrivals Hall to transport you to our beautiful 5-star hotel in Bucharest where you’ll have the rest of the day to rest, relax, and rejuvenate. This morning, we’ll embark on a guided panoramic city tour with stops at Revolution Square, the historic Lipscani district, and the Romanian Athenaeum and more. Lunch will be served at Caru’ cu Bere, a historic restaurant serving traditional Romanian cuisine in a beautiful Gothic Revival building. This afternoon, enjoy free time with your Sisters before we head to our Welcome Dinner at The Artist, a contemporary restaurant where you’ll enjoy a multi-course tasting menu that reinterprets traditional Romanian dishes. After breakfast, we’ll visit a local women’s cooperative, Asociatia PlaYouth, which focuses on empowering women through education and entrepreneurship. We’ll have an opportunity to engage in a hands-on workshop and discussions with our Romanian sisters. Next, we’ll visit the Palace of the Parliament where we can explore the world’s heaviest building, a symbol of Romania’s communist past. This afternoon, we’ll take a stroll through the Village Museum, which is an open-air museum, to explore Romania’s rural heritage with authentic houses and artifacts from different regions. Tonight, we’ll head to dinner together for modern Romanian cuisine at Casa di David and enjoy views over Herastrau Lake. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

This morning, we’ll travel to Sibiu, a picturesque medieval town in the heart of Transylvania, known for its Germanic architecture. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a panoramic city tour including stops at the historic center, the Large Square, Small Square, and the Bridge of Lies. After, we’ll visit the ASTRA Museum of Traditional Folk Civilization where we’ll meet local artisans who are preserving traditional crafts like weaving and pottery. Tonight, we’ll enjoy traditional Transylvanian dishes at Crama Sibiana, a charming restaurant located in a historic cellar. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Today, we’ll drive to Sighisoara, the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) and one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. We’ll explore the Clock Tower, the Church on the Hill, and walk through the old town’s colorful streets. We’ll enjoy lunch together at Casa Georgius Krauss before visiting Viscri, a UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its fortified church. We’ll engage in an exclusive meeting with women involved in the Viscri’s Women project, which focuses on preserving traditional crafts and sustainable tourism. Experience one of the most famous and dramatic roads in the world, as we enjoy a scenic drive on the Transfăgărășan Highway, winding through the Carpathian Mountains. We’ll visit Poenari Fortress, the real castle of Vlad the Impaler, perched on a steep cliff. This afternoon, we’ll arrive in Brasov and enjoy a guided walking tour of the town’s medieval streets, the Black Church, and the Council Square. Tonight, we’ll dine together at Bella Muzica, offering a mix of Romanian, Hungarian, and international cuisine in a historic building. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

After breakfast, we’ll make a visit to Bran Castle, known as Dracula’s Castle, to explore the iconic fortress with its spooky history and beautiful setting. Next, we’ll head to the nearby village of Moieciu for an exclusive cultural exchange with local women. We’ll participate in traditional cooking and craft workshops, learning about their way of life in this rural part of Romania. We’ll enjoy lunch at a local farmhouse in Moieciu, enjoying homemade dishes featuring local ingredients. The rest of the day and evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure with your Sisters. This morning, we’ll take a scenic drive back to Bucharest and the airport where we’ll board our short, group flight to Sofia, Bulgaria. Upon arrival, we’ll check-in to our beautiful hotel and then take an orientation walk through Sofia’s historic center, visiting landmarks like Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Saint Sofia Church, and the Parliament. Tonight, we’ll enjoy our dinner together at Sasa Asian Pub, offering a fusion of Asian and Bulgarian cuisine with a modern twist, located in the heart of the city. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Today, we’ll visit the Women’s Fund Bulgaria, to learn more about their initiatives supporting women’s rights and empowerment. We’ll have the opportunity to engage in discussions and workshops with our local Bulgarian sisters. Next, we’ll travel to the UNESCO-listed Rila Monastery, Bulgaria’s most iconic spiritual site, set in the stunning Rila Mountains. After our visit, we’ll enjoy lunch at a traditional Bulgarian restaurant near the monastery, featuring rustic mountain dishes. Later, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive back to the city, where the rest of the day is yours to enjoy with your Sisters. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

Today, we’ll be traveling to Plovdiv, Bulgaria’s second-largest city and one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of the Roman Amphitheater, Old Town, and the Kapana Creative District. We’ll visit the Plovdiv Women’s Association to learn about their work supporting women in the community, followed by a pottery workshop where you can create your own piece of Bulgarian pottery. This evening, we’ll dine at Pavaj, a trendy restaurant in the Kapana district known for its delicious, locally sourced Bulgarian cuisine. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

This morning, we’ll embark on a day of wine and cultural heritage in the Thracian Valley. First, we’ll visit some of Bulgaria’s best wineries in the Valley, a region known for its ancient wine-making traditions. We’ll enjoy private tours and tastings at Villa Yustina and Zagreus Winery. Our gourmet picnic among the vineyards, featuring local cheeses, meats, and freshly baked bread will certainly be a highlight of our day. Next, we’ll visit the Bachkovo Monastery, one of Bulgaria’s oldest, nestled in the Rhodope Mountains. Tonight, enjoy the city at leisure with your Sisters. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

Today, we’ll drive to the historic city of Veliko Tarnovo, once the capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire. We’ll explore the Tsarevets Fortress, Samovodska Charshia (the crafts street) and the Old Town. We’ll visit a local weaving cooperative, where we’ll meet women who preserve traditional Bulgarian weaving techniques and participate in a workshop to learn how to create our own woven pieces. This evening, we’ll enjoy dinner together at Shtastliveca, a restaurant known for its creative takes on traditional Bulgarian dishes, set in a beautiful old building with panoramic views. This morning, we’ll drive to Ruse, known as “Little Vienna,” for its elegant 19th-century architecture. We’ll enjoy a guided walking tour of Ruse’s architectural gems, including the Dohodno Zdanie, the Opera House, and the old city center. After, we’ll take a private river cruise along the Danube, offering beautiful views of the river and surrounding landscapes. Tonight, we’ll enjoy dinner together at Leventa, a winery and restaurant located in a historic fortress, offering exquisite Bulgarian wines and cuisine. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Today, we’ll cross the Danube back into Romania and transfer back to Bucharest. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure for last-minute shopping, exploring, or relaxing at the hotel. Tonight, we’ll enjoy a private dining experience at Nor Sky Casual Restaurant where we’ll enjoy a Farewell Dinner, celebrating the flavors and memories of our journey through Romania and Bulgaria. Sadly, our journey together comes to an end. We’ll be transferred back to the Bucharest airport for our return flights home. (Breakfast included)
