Today, we’ll embark on a leisurely walking tour to learn about York’s rich history. We’ll have some time to explore the quaint, narrow streets of the “Shambles” that are almost identical to the way they were during the Middle Ages. You’ll have an opportunity to step inside the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe, the “Minster”, to view the phenomenal sea of stained-glass windows. Later, we’ll visit The Royal Mint where we’ll witness how stringent the process is to create a coin.
