ICELAND SUMMER ADVENTURE 2027
July 18 - 27, 2027
A Women’s Journey Through Fire, Ice & Wild Coastlines
Where Glaciers Glow, Waterfalls Roar & Sisterhood Leads the Way
July is the absolute best time to visit Iceland, when summer brings long daylight hours, comfortable temperatures, and peak wildlife viewing. Waterfalls thunder at full force, puffins nest along coastal cliffs, seals swim through glacial lagoons, and vibrant green landscapes stretch across lava fields and valleys. With extended daylight, we have the freedom to explore more of Iceland’s glaciers, black sand beaches, geysers, and geothermal hot springs at a relaxed, unhurried pace.
Our Iceland Summer Adventure 2027 is a carefully designed women’s tour that captures the country at its most dynamic. We’ll cruise among floating icebergs, stand before powerful waterfalls, walk along volcanic shores, and soak in mineral-rich geothermal waters overlooking the North Atlantic. This is Iceland in its prime — bold, beautiful, and unforgettable.
Traveling with The Sisterhood makes it even more meaningful. Shared laughter on scenic drives, awe-filled moments at glacier viewpoints, and conversations over Icelandic meals turn breathtaking landscapes into lasting memories. This is not just sightseeing. It’s connection, discovery, and adventure alongside a supportive group of women who are ready to experience something extraordinary together.
If Iceland has been on your bucket list, there is no better time than summer and no better way than with The Sisterhood. What are you waiting for?

Activity Level:
Moderate
This Iceland Summer Adventure is best suited for women who are comfortable being active most days and exploring a wide variety of natural landscapes. While there is no strenuous hiking required, this journey includes daily sightseeing, regular walking on uneven terrain, and several full touring days with extended time outdoors.
Walking & Standing
Most days include guided walking tours, scenic stops, and time exploring natural sites. You can expect to walk approximately 1 to 3 miles on touring days, sometimes spread out over multiple stops. Surfaces vary and may include gravel paths, uneven lava rock, black sand beaches, grassy fields, wooden boardwalks, and occasional staircases.
Coach Travel & Daily Schedule
This itinerary covers significant distances as we circle through West Iceland, the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, the South Coast, and the Glacier Lagoon region. Several days will include extended coach travel with scenic stops along the way. While drives are beautifully scenic and broken up with frequent sightseeing, you should be comfortable spending multiple hours on the motorcoach on certain days. Daily departures are typically in the morning, with full days of exploration before arriving at our next destination in the late afternoon or early evening.
Water-Based & Specialty Experiences
Our amphibian boat cruise at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon requires stepping on and off a stable but moving vessel. The experience is not physically demanding but does require steady balance. The geothermal bathing experience at Sky Lagoon includes walking on wet surfaces and entering warm mineral pools. Participation is optional and can be enjoyed at your own pace.
Terrain & Weather Considerations
Iceland’s weather can change quickly, even in summer. Expect cool temperatures, wind, and occasional rain. Some viewpoints and waterfalls can be windy and misty, which may create slippery conditions. Long daylight hours during July (up to 20+ hours of light) are part of the magic of Iceland’s summer season. However, the extended daylight can impact sleep for some travelers. Eye masks are recommended for light-sensitive sleepers.
