Stroll along the picturesque Kordon waterfront, browse the city’s lively shops and cafés, discover local markets, or simply relax over a leisurely lunch while watching daily life unfold around you. Perhaps best of all, today offers the opportunity to spend unhurried time with your new Sisters. Share stories over Turkish coffee, wander the waterfront together, or discover your own favorite corner of the city before our incredible journey through Türkiye officially begins tomorrow.

Today, we’ll begin discovering the Türkiye that locals know and love. Our morning starts in Karşıyaka, whose name literally means “the other side.” Located across the bay from downtown Izmir, this vibrant neighborhood offers a glimpse into everyday Turkish life. Next, we’ll board a public ferry across the bay to Konak Pier, joining locals on one of the city’s most beloved daily rituals while enjoying beautiful views of Izmir’s waterfront. From there, we’ll dive into the colorful Kemeraltı Bazaar, one of Türkiye’s oldest and most fascinating marketplaces.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Our centrally located hotel makes it easy to stroll the scenic waterfront promenade, browse nearby shops, relax at a café, or simply continue exploring the city with your new Sisters. This evening, we’ll officially kick off our Turkish adventure with a Welcome Dinner, celebrating the beginning of an unforgettable journey together.

One of Türkiye’s greatest treasures awaits today as we explore the remarkable ancient city of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s best-preserved classical cities. Wander marble streets once traveled by emperors, merchants, and the Apostle Paul while discovering extraordinary landmarks, including the magnificent Library of Celsus, the beautifully preserved Terrace Houses, and the site of the legendary Temple of Artemis.

Later, our journey continues to the enchanting hillside village of Şirince, where whitewashed homes, cobblestone lanes, and centuries-old Ottoman architecture create one of Türkiye’s most picturesque settings. Browse charming shops filled with locally produced olive oils, handcrafted goods, fruit wines, and regional specialties before pausing at a cozy café for one of Türkiye’s most cherished traditions. Sip authentic Türk kahvesi and, if you’re feeling adventurous, let a local read your fortune from the coffee grounds, a delightful custom that has been shared among friends for generations. Later, we’ll return to Izmir with wonderful memories of a day that beautifully blends ancient civilizations, enduring traditions, and the warm hospitality that makes Türkiye so unforgettable.

Today’s adventure takes us to one of Türkiye’s most extraordinary natural wonders. Rising above the dazzling white travertine terraces of Pamukkale, known as the “Cotton Castle,” are the remarkable ruins of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where ancient history and breathtaking landscapes exist side by side.

Explore this fascinating Greco-Roman city from the comfort of a private golf cart, bringing its grand streets, temples, and ancient ruins vividly to life. You’ll also have time to wander Pamukkale’s famous limestone terraces at your own pace, admiring the brilliant white formations and shimmering thermal pools that have drawn visitors here for thousands of years.

By late afternoon, we’ll arrive in the charming riverside town of Dalyan, where our welcoming family-run waterfront inn will be our home for the next two nights. The remainder of the day is yours to relax on the deck overlooking the river, stroll through the town, or simply settle into the slower pace of one of Türkiye’s most delightful hidden gems.

Discover another chapter of Türkiye’s remarkable past as we explore the fascinating ruins of Kaunos, an ancient city whose temples, theaters, and stone streets tell the story of civilizations that flourished here more than 2,000 years ago. Later, we’ll step aboard our private boat and cruise the tranquil Dalyan River, winding through a breathtaking landscape of lush marshlands, dramatic cliffs, and peaceful waterways on the journey toward the Mediterranean. Later, we’ll return to Dalyan with time to enjoy this charming riverside town at your own pace. Relax along the waterfront, browse the local shops, or simply savor another peaceful evening with your new Sisters in one of Türkiye’s most picturesque settings.

Today’s full-day journey follows one of history’s most legendary trade routes, the Silk Road, where merchants, explorers, and travelers once carried spices, silk, ideas, and cultures between East and West. As the landscapes unfold outside your window, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the vastness and diversity of Türkiye while tracing a path that has connected civilizations for centuries. Along the way, we’ll pause in the welcoming city of Burdur to enjoy lunch and experience the region’s simple yet flavorful local cuisine before continuing to Konya, one of Türkiye’s most significant cultural and spiritual centers. By early evening, we’ll arrive in Konya, where the remainder of the day is yours to relax and settle into our hotel. Dinner is included this evening, allowing you to unwind and prepare for tomorrow’s exploration of this remarkable city.

We’ll begin in Konya today, where the Mevlâna Museum offers an inspiring introduction to the teachings of the great Sufi mystic Rumi and the enduring traditions of the Whirling Dervishes. As one of the world’s most important pilgrimage sites, it remains a place of profound cultural and spiritual significance. Continuing along the legendary Silk Road, we’ll visit the magnificent Sultanhani Caravanserai, one of the largest and best-preserved roadside inns built to welcome merchants and travelers crossing Anatolia centuries ago.

As the scenery gradually transforms, we’ll arrive in the extraordinary region of Cappadocia, where nature has sculpted one of the world’s most unforgettable landscapes. Discover one of the area’s remarkable underground cities, an astonishing network of chambers and passageways carved nearly 3,000 years ago to provide refuge during times of conflict. As we continue to our hotel, Cappadocia’s iconic fairy chimneys, dramatic valleys, and otherworldly rock formations begin to reveal themselves, offering a breathtaking first glimpse of the magical region we’ll be exploring over the coming days.

If you’ve chosen to join the optional sunrise hot air balloon excursion, you’ll begin the day with one of the world’s most unforgettable sights as hundreds of colorful balloons drift silently above Cappadocia. It’s a breathtaking experience you’ll never forget. Later, we’ll come together to explore the Göreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where beautifully preserved rock-cut churches, monasteries, and centuries-old frescoes offer a remarkable window into Cappadocia’s early Christian history.

One of today’s most memorable experiences awaits at lunch as we’re welcomed into the home of a local family. Gather around the family table to enjoy traditional recipes prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, share stories, and experience the warmth and hospitality that are at the heart of Turkish culture. Our exploration continues with a visit to a local pottery workshop, where generations of artisans have transformed Cappadocia’s distinctive red clay into beautiful works of art using techniques passed down through the centuries.

This evening offers a deeply meaningful cultural experience as we witness a traditional Whirling Dervishes ceremony. More than a performance, this sacred spiritual ritual is an expression of devotion and meditation that has remained an important part of Turkish culture for centuries. Out of respect for its religious significance, photography is not permitted during the ceremony, allowing everyone to be fully present in this extraordinary experience.

Or, if you’re looking for a little more adventure, climb aboard a private 4×4 vehicle for an exhilarating off-road safari through Cappadocia’s dramatic valleys and hidden viewpoints.

However you spend the morning, we’ll all come together for a truly special lunch at Tik Tik, a women-owned cooperative restaurant and one of our cherished Sisterhood Supporting Women Experiences. Later, discover one of Türkiye’s oldest artistic traditions during a fascinating carpet weaving demonstration. This morning, we’ll fly to the magnificent city of Istanbul, where Europe and Asia meet, and thousands of years of history blend effortlessly with vibrant modern life. Our introduction begins at the legendary Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets. Lose yourself among its colorful labyrinth of shops filled with handwoven carpets, shimmering lanterns, fragrant spices, fine jewelry, leather goods, ceramics, and countless treasures waiting to be discovered. Later, we’ll settle into our hotel before gathering once again for dinner at a local restaurant, where we’ll celebrate the adventures we’ve shared and toast the exciting days that still lie ahead in one of the world’s most captivating cities.

Today is devoted to discovering some of the world’s most extraordinary landmarks, each reflecting the rich tapestry of civilizations that have shaped Istanbul for more than 2,000 years. Step inside the magnificent Hagia Sophia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose remarkable history has seen it serve as a cathedral, an imperial mosque, a museum, and once again a mosque. We’ll continue to the opulent Topkapi Palace, home to the Ottoman sultans for nearly four centuries. Wander through lavish courtyards, elegant pavilions, and the fascinating Imperial Harem, where centuries of palace life unfolded behind ornate walls.

Of course, no visit to Istanbul would be complete without experiencing the stunning Blue Mosque, celebrated for its graceful domes, slender minarets, and magnificent blue Iznik tilework that has inspired visitors for generations. Nearby, the historic Hippodrome offers a glimpse into Constantinople’s Roman past, when chariot races, grand ceremonies, and public celebrations filled this remarkable gathering place with life. The afternoon is devoted to one of Türkiye’s most cherished traditions as we experience the timeless ritual of a historic Turkish hammam. Wrapped in a traditional peştemal, you’ll begin by relaxing in the soothing warmth of the hammam before enjoying an invigorating scrub and luxurious foam bath. This centuries-old cleansing ritual leaves your skin refreshed, your muscles relaxed, and your skin glowing.
