1 Welcome to Big Sky Country2027-09-23
Our Yellowstone adventure begins in Bozeman, Montana, a lively mountain town surrounded by wide-open skies and stunning Rocky Mountain scenery. After arriving and checking into the hotel, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Take a stroll through downtown Bozeman, browse local shops, grab a drink at one of the area’s popular breweries, or enjoy dinner at a cozy Montana restaurant. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, settle in, and soak up the atmosphere before the adventure begins.
2 Discover Yellowstone National Park2027-09-24
Today, we head into the world’s first national park to experience the incredible landscapes and natural wonders that make Yellowstone so unforgettable. From steaming geysers and colorful hot springs to scenic valleys where bison, elk, and other wildlife roam freely, every turn offers something amazing to see. This evening, we’ll gather together for our Welcome Dinner at one of Yellowstone’s historic lodge restaurants overlooking beautiful Yellowstone Lake. It’s the perfect setting to get to know your new Sisters and celebrate the start of our adventure together. (Breakfast and Dinner included)
3 Grand Prismatic Spring & Old Faithful2027-09-25
There’s something special about waking up inside Yellowstone National Park before the day-trippers arrive. Today, we’ll experience two of the park’s most famous natural wonders with a visit to the spectacular Grand Prismatic Spring, the largest hot spring in the United States. Its brilliant bands of blue, green, yellow, and orange create one of the most photographed landscapes in Yellowstone. We’ll also witness the famous eruption of Old Faithful, one of the world’s most reliable geysers. Watching thousands of gallons of steaming water shoot high into the air is a Yellowstone experience you’ll never forget. This afternoon, we’ll continue exploring the park, enjoying scenic drives through Yellowstone’s diverse landscapes and keeping an eye out for bison, elk, bears, and other wildlife that call this remarkable place home. 4 From Yellowstone to Sun Valley2027-09-26
Today, we say goodbye to Yellowstone and travel through the scenic landscapes of the American West on our way to Sun Valley, Idaho. Known for its stunning mountain setting and rich history, Sun Valley has been a favorite retreat for celebrities, athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts since the 1930s. After arriving, take in the beauty and charm of this iconic resort town before we gather for dinner at the historic Sun Valley Resort. Overlooking the famous outdoor ice rink, this is a wonderful opportunity to relax, enjoy great food and great company, and experience the timeless elegance that has made Sun Valley legendary. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

This morning, we’ll explore the rich history of Sun Valley with a local guide, discovering how this mountain retreat became a favorite getaway for celebrities, athletes, artists, and adventurers. 6 Shoshone Falls & Boise's Basque Heritage2027-09-28
Today, we leave the mountains behind and journey to Boise, Idaho’s vibrant capital city. Along the way, we’ll stop at spectacular Shoshone Falls, often called the “Niagara of the West.” At 212 feet tall, these impressive falls are actually higher than Niagara Falls and offer incredible views of the Snake River Canyon. After arriving in Boise, we’ll discover the city’s unique cultural heritage with a visit to the Basque Museum and Cultural Center. Boise is home to one of the largest Basque communities in the United States, and we’ll learn about the traditions, history, and contributions of the immigrants who helped shape the region.
This evening, we’ll gather for a traditional Basque dinner, enjoying the warm hospitality and family-style dining that are at the heart of Basque culture. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience one of Boise’s most distinctive and celebrated traditions. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included)
7 From Boise to Lewiston2027-09-29
We’ll travel north today through some of Idaho’s most beautiful scenery as we make our way to Lewiston. Along the way, we’ll stop in the charming mountain town of McCall, located on the shores of stunning Payette Lake. Enjoy free time with your Sisters to stroll through town, browse local shops, relax by the water, or simply take in the fresh mountain air and beautiful lake views. This afternoon, we’ll continue our journey to Lewiston, where the Snake and Clearwater Rivers meet. After checking into our hotel, the evening is yours to relax and enjoy with your Sisters before tomorrow’s adventure. (Breakfast included)
8 Hells Canyon Adventure & Wine Country2027-09-30
Get ready for one of the highlights of our journey as we set out on a private jetboat tour through Hells Canyon, the deepest river gorge in North America. As we cruise along the Snake River, we’ll take in dramatic canyon scenery while learning about the area’s unique geology, wildlife, and fascinating frontier history. Later, we’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the region during a Nez Perce Cultural Experience, where we’ll learn about the traditions, history, and enduring legacy of the Nez Perce people. Tonight, we’ll celebrate our adventure with a special private dinner at a local vineyard. Enjoy a wine tasting, delicious food, and beautiful views of the vineyards and river beyond. 9 Spokane & Farewell Celebration2027-10-01
Today, we’ll cross into Washington State and travel to Spokane, the vibrant city known for its beautiful riverfront, historic architecture, and rich cultural heritage. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of the city, exploring Spokane’s historic districts, scenic riverfront, and some of its most notable landmarks. You’ll discover why this Eastern Washington city has long been a crossroads of commerce, culture, and outdoor beauty.
Tonight, we’ll check into the iconic Davenport Hotel, a Spokane landmark known for its historic charm and elegant accommodations. This evening, we’ll gather for our Farewell Dinner, sharing stories and favorite memories from our journey through Yellowstone, Sun Valley, Hells Canyon, and beyond. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the incredible experiences, landscapes, and new friendships that made this adventure so special. (Breakfast and Dinner included)
10 Departure Day2027-10-02
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye as our Yellowstone, Sun Valley & Hells Canyon adventure comes to an end. As you depart Spokane for your flight home, take with you wonderful memories, new friendships, and unforgettable experiences from this journey through Montana, Idaho, and Washington. Activity Level: 2-Leisurely
This tour combines scenic sightseeing, cultural experiences, and spectacular natural landscapes with a comfortable pace. While it does not require strenuous hiking or extended periods of standing, travelers should be prepared for multiple days of sightseeing, several longer coach transfers, and time spent at higher elevations.
Walking & Standing
Most sightseeing activities involve leisurely to moderate walking at attractions, scenic viewpoints, museums, historic districts, and cultural sites. Walking is generally at a relaxed pace with opportunities to rest throughout the day. Travelers should be comfortable walking short distances from motor coach drop-off points to attractions and standing for brief periods during guided visits. The jet boat excursion through Hells Canyon requires stepping on and off the vessel several times throughout the day. While no significant physical exertion is required, travelers should have sufficient mobility and balance to safely board and disembark the boat.
Terrain & Transportation
Terrain is generally easy and includes paved sidewalks, hotel walkways, viewing areas, and maintained park pathways. Some uneven surfaces may be encountered at natural attractions and scenic overlooks. This itinerary includes three longer travel days with approximately four hours or more of driving, including sightseeing stops, between Yellowstone and Sun Valley, Sun Valley and Boise, and Boise and Lewiston. Travelers should be comfortable spending extended periods seated on a motor coach. The Hells Canyon jet boat excursion travels at high speeds through occasionally rough water. The boats feature covered seating, back support, restroom facilities, and frequent stops throughout the journey.
Altitude
Two nights are spent inside Yellowstone National Park at elevations of approximately 8,000 feet, with additional time spent above 5,000 feet in Sun Valley. While sightseeing is not physically strenuous, some travelers may experience mild effects of altitude, including shortness of breath, fatigue, or headaches. Travelers with respiratory or cardiovascular concerns should consult their physician prior to travel.
Early Starts
To maximize wildlife viewing and sightseeing opportunities, departures before 9:00 a.m. are required on both mornings in Yellowstone National Park. An early departure is also necessary for the Hells Canyon jet boat excursion.

Important Information▾
Please read this information carefully. There will be up to 24 Sisters on this tour, including your Sisterhood Travels Group Leader. Roommate matching is available.
Arrivals & Departures▾
Airfare is not included in your pricing. You will fly into Bozeman (BZN) and depart from Spokane (GEG).
You can arrive at any time on September 23, 2027, and depart at any time on October 2, 2027. Check-in time at your arrival hotel is at 3:00 pm.
All flight arrangements must be submitted to Sisterhood Travels on or before July 23, 2027. If you need help making flight arrangements, or to submit your independent flight arrangements, please click here for Airfare Information.
Arrival transfers are provided only on September 23, 2027, from the Bozeman airport to our hotel. Departure transfers are only provided on October 2, 2027, from our hotel to the Spokane airport. If you arrive or depart outside these days and times, or you’re needing transfers or hotels elsewhere, you are responsible for making your own arrangements at your own expense.
Entry Requirements▾
You are required to travel with an approved REAL ID on this tour. This can include a valid passport. If you fail to travel with compliant REAL ID, Sisterhood Travels will not be responsible for your inability to join the tour, and you will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.
Gratuities, Travel Insurance & Optional Expenses▾
Gratuities for your Tour Manager, local guides, and drivers are not included in your pricing. We will provide you with tipping guidelines for your trip.
Travel Insurance with Cancel for Any Reason coverage is strongly recommended and is not included in your pricing. We will send you a quote via email.
Any optional expenses or expenses related to anything not specifically listed in this itinerary are not included.
Please don’t schedule any optional excursions on your own for this trip as we cannot promise that you will arrive in time at any location to make your independent excursion. Sisterhood Travels won’t be liable for any expense you incur because of this.

The Hells Canyon jet boat excursion travels at high speeds through occasionally rough water. The boats feature covered seating, back support, restroom facilities, and frequent stops throughout the journey.

We cannot accommodate wheelchairs, assistive devices, scooters, walkers or rollators, or Zimmer-frames. You must be able to ambulate independently with no assistance from devices or others on the trip. It is imperative that you read the activity level description below.
