Once we arrive, the rest of the day is yours to unwind. Whether you choose to nap off the jet lag, take a leisurely stroll through the nearby streets, or simply sip a warm cup of Irish tea in the hotel lounge, this is your time to relax and settle in. No pressure, no schedule—just a soft landing into your Irish adventure.

This evening, we’ll gather together for an informal Meet & Greet hosted by your Group Leader. Today, we dive deeper into the heart of Dublin with a morning that blends fascinating history, stunning architecture, and one of Ireland’s most treasured artifacts. We’ll start our day by meeting our fabulous Tour Director and a knowledgeable local guide for a panoramic walking tour of the city. As we wander through Dublin’s charming streets, you’ll get an insider’s look at the landmarks, legends, and layers of history that make this city so magical.

Our highlight stop? The iconic Trinity College, where we’ll step into the hushed halls of the Old Library to marvel at the world-famous Book of Kells, a breathtaking 8th-century manuscript that’s nothing short of a masterpiece. The atmosphere is almost otherworldly and seeing it in person is an unforgettable experience. After the tour, enjoy some free time to explore, grab lunch, or perhaps browse the shops nearby—you’ve earned a little me-time!

This morning, we’ll say goodbye to Dublin but don’t worry, the magic is only just beginning! Our journey takes us into the rolling green countryside, where our first stop is a warm and welcoming local farmhouse. Here, we’ll enjoy a delightful tour and be treated to freshly baked scones served warm and paired perfectly with a cup of tea. It’s a cozy, authentic slice of rural Irish life, and you’re going to love it.

From there, we’ll continue our scenic drive to the historic city of Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city and home to the world-renowned House of Waterford Crystal. During our visit, we’ll take a fascinating guided tour where you’ll see master craftsmen at work: blowing, cutting, and shaping sparkling crystal into works of art. The artistry here is jaw-dropping, and you’ll even spot a few one-of-a-kind pieces that aren’t found anywhere else in the world.

We’ll visit the iconic Shandon Church, a beloved landmark with its distinctive red and white steeple, and take in the Crawford Art Gallery, home to an inspiring collection of Irish and European works.

We’ll wander through Paul Street, known for its stylish shops, cozy cafés, and trendy restaurants—perfect for a little browsing or people-watching. Then it’s on to the historic English Market, a feast for the senses since 1788! Here, you’ll discover stalls brimming with gourmet goodies, local produce, and international treats. We’ll start with a charming and unforgettable horse-drawn jaunting car ride through the lush, storybook-like beauty of Killarney National Park. Clip-clopping along scenic trails with your local jarvey (driver) guiding the way, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped straight into an Irish fairytale.

From there, we’re off to explore the Dingle Peninsula—a place so breathtaking, National Geographic once named it “the most beautiful place on earth.” We’ll travel along the south shore, where you’ll be treated to dramatic coastal cliffs, windswept beaches, rolling green hills, and misty mountain views. Don’t worry, we’ll make plenty of photo stops—this is a day you’ll want to remember forever. Later, we’ll visit Gabriel Kavanagh Farm, where you’ll watch sheepdogs in action, herding sheep with incredible precision. It’s an authentic peek into rural Irish life, and you’ll fall in love with these clever, hardworking pups.

This cozy pub was once the creative haven of one of Ireland’s most beloved playwrights and novelists. As we sip a hot cup of tea and indulge in freshly baked scones, you’ll feel the spirit of storytelling in the air—it’s the kind of place that feels like home, even if it’s your first time. From there, we’ll head to Tarbert, where we’ll board a short but scenic ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary—a peaceful moment to soak in the fresh air and gentle sway of the water.

Next stop: the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most iconic natural wonders. As we pass through this unspoiled landscape, you’ll spot locals still hand-cutting peat for warmth—an ancient tradition that’s still alive today.

Next, we’ll set sail on a peaceful cruise across Lough Corrib, Ireland’s largest lake. Stretching 68 square miles and dotted with 365 islands—one for each day of the year—this is one of the cleanest lakes in all of Europe. Let the crisp air and tranquil waters soothe your spirit as you take in the stunning scenery.

Our journey continues to the enchanting Kylemore Abbey, a lakeside Gothic mansion that looks like it leapt from the pages of a fairytale. As we explore the Abbey and its beautiful Neo-Gothic church, you’ll hear stories of lost love, royal visits, and incredible resilience. Our first stop this morning is the remarkable Ballintubber Abbey, often called “the Abbey that refused to die.” With over 780 years of continuous worship, this is Ireland’s only royal abbey still in use today.

Next, we’ll head into the charming town of Belleek for a visit to the world-renowned Belleek Pottery Factory. Here, you’ll watch master artisans transform clay into delicate porcelain treasures, using techniques passed down for generations. The craftsmanship is absolutely mesmerizing—and yes, there’s time for a little shopping if something catches your eye!

Then it’s off to Ardara, a town known for its strong heritage in textile arts. We’ll stop at Triona Designs, where you’ll witness live demonstrations of spinning, weaving, and knitting—a behind-the-scenes look at how traditional Irish garments are made with love and skill. It’s the perfect place to appreciate (and maybe even pick up) a cozy piece of Ireland to take home.

With interactive exhibits and powerful storytelling, you’ll walk the very docks where the Titanic was built and come away with a deeper connection to one of history’s most iconic ships.

Next, we’re off to Long Meadow Cider, nestled in the lush Armagh countryside. Here, we’ll enjoy a delightful cider tasting and savor the crisp, fruity flavors of this local favorite. Then, settle in for a wonderful picnic lunch surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Ireland’s apple orchards—cheers to that!

And now, for the grand finale: we’re headed to the breathtaking Cabra Castle Hotel in Kingscourt. Once you step through the gates, you’ll feel like royalty. This stunning estate will be our home for the night, and the afternoon is yours to live like the Landed Gentry.   • International airfare is not included in your pricing. You will fly roundtrip Dublin (DUB)
  • You can arrive at any time on September 19, 2026, and depart at any time on October 1, 2026
  • Check-in time at our arrival hotel is at 3:00 pm.
  • All international flight arrangements must be submitted to Sisterhood Travels on or before June 15, 2026. If you need help making flight arrangements, or to submit your independent flight arrangements, please click here for Airfare Information.
  • Complete valid passport information is required on or before June 15, 2026. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the dates of your travel. Failure to provide this information by the due date may result in our inability to secure your arrangements and any penalties incurred will be at your expense.

Our immersive journey through Ireland is best suited for women with a moderate level of physical fitness who are comfortable walking on uneven surfaces, navigating older buildings, and spending time on their feet during sightseeing tours. While this is not a strenuous trip, a reasonable amount of mobility and stamina will ensure you enjoy every magical moment.

Walking & Standing

This itinerary includes daily walking tours in cities like Dublin, Cork, Galway, Derry, and Belfast, often on cobblestone streets, uneven sidewalks, and historical grounds. Some days include extended periods of standing during guided tours at places like Trinity Collegethe Giant’s Causeway, and Titanic Belfast. In locations such as the Cliffs of MoherKylemore Abbey, and castle properties, expect to be on your feet for up to 1–2 hours at a time with breaks.

Trails, Stairs & Inclines

Visits to historic landmarks—such as Blarney Castle, where optionally climbing the battlements to kiss the stone involves steep, narrow stairs, and Ballintubber Abbeycity cathedrals, and castles—may include older infrastructure without elevators or handrails. While the walk to the viewing areas at the Cliffs of Moher and Giant’s Causeway is mostly paved or gravel, there are inclines and potentially windy conditions.

Scenic Drives & Travel Days

Ireland’s beauty unfolds in its landscapes, so expect multiple scenic drive days, including travel along the Wild Atlantic WayMoll’s Gap, and across rural regions like Connemara. Drives between destinations typically range from 2 to 4 hours, with rest stops and opportunities to stretch. Your comfort is a priority, and the group will travel in a private, air-conditioned coach with professional drivers and local guides.

Accommodations & Castle Stay

You’ll enjoy stays in deluxe and luxury hotels including a castle estate, all offering high comfort, modern amenities, and excellent service. Some historic properties, such as Cabra Castle, may feature stairs or smaller elevators due to their preserved architectural features. Porters and staff will assist with luggage whenever available.
