Customers who register and reserve a trip with a deposit payment after April 1, 2021, are entitled to a full refund if, due to COVID-19-related travel restrictions imposed by the relevant government authorities in your home country or in the trip destination country, the trip is canceled because the borders are closed, and you are prohibited from traveling. If such Covid-related government restrictions require Sisterhood Travels to postpone or cancel the trip or prohibit you from traveling, you will have the option of a) joining us on the rescheduled trip at a later date (we will make every effort to pick new dates that work for everyone), b) applying your payment(s) towards a different trip, or c) receiving a full refund.
Please note: Most countries require travelers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and/or that you take other health tests, such as a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival, as a requirement for entering the country. We require everyone traveling with us to conform to the entry requirements of each country we visit. While it is everyone’s right to decide whether or not they want to receive a vaccination or perform any other required health-related procedure, whether it’s for Covid-19 or any other contagious disease, the failure to or decision not to meet the entry requirements of a country does not qualify as a travel restriction that is the basis for a refund. Further, if you or a family member get sick from Covid or any other disease before the trip departs or during it, you will need to have your own medical and trip cancellation insurance to cover any costs incurred. All trips that are moving forward are not refundable. We are making our decisions on where to travel based on which countries are open and have protective Covid measures in place.
