Hello Seattle! Welcome to the Emerald City! Upon arrival, your private driver will whisk you away to our fabulous hotel in the heart of the city. This evening, we’ll gather with our new Sisters for a warm and welcoming dinner to kick off our Pacific Northwest adventure in style. (Dinner included)

We’ll start our day soaking in the vibrant energy of Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square and its colorful waterfront. A local guide will show us the hidden gems and lively atmosphere of Pike Place Market where fish fly and local artisans shine. Then it’s time to board a Washington State Ferry for a scenic cruise across Puget Sound to Bremerton, offering postcard-worthy views of the Seattle skyline. Back on the road, we’ll head south through Olympia to the fascinating Mount St. Helens Visitor Center. Here, we’ll delve into the dramatic eruption of 1980 and the powerful forces that shaped the region. By evening, we’ll arrive in Portland, Oregon, our home for the next two nights in the beautiful “City of Roses.”  (Breakfast included)

Get ready for a day of natural beauty and breathtaking views! We’ll travel the scenic Mt. Hood route into the Columbia River Gorge, where lush landscapes and the majestic Multnomah Falls await. At 611 feet, this cascade is one of the tallest and most stunning in North America. Later, we’ll visit a local lavender farm to discover the secrets of this fragrant and healing herb during a peaceful walking tour. Tonight, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner together at a charming local spot. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

September 10, 2026

This morning, we’ll journey through Oregon’s Willamette Valley, once the destination of Oregon Trail pioneers, and now a wine lover’s paradise. On the coast, we’ll visit the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, standing tall against crashing waves since 1872. You can explore the interpretive center or venture down to Cobble Beach to peek into the magical world of tide pools. After a stop in the quaint town of Newport, we’ll continue our drive down the coast to the lively boardwalk of North Bend, where the ocean breeze welcomes us to the Pacific.  (Breakfast and Dinner included)

September 11, 2026

Our coastal journey continues this morning with a stop at Bandon State Natural Area, where the dramatic Beach Loop and legendary rock formations like Face Rock steal the show. Then we’ll board a riverboat for a scenic cruise up the mighty Rogue River. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles, seals, and herons! Later, we’ll head south into California’s redwood country, where ancient giants soar nearly 300 feet into the sky. It’s a forest like no other, and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into another world. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

This morning, we’ll travel the legendary “Avenue of the Giants,” a scenic route winding through some of the tallest and oldest trees on Earth. As we make our way into the Bay Area, we’ll cross the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and arrive in dazzling San Francisco. Tonight, you’re free to explore the city’s diverse food scene. Whether you’re craving seafood at the Wharf or a cozy neighborhood café, the evening is yours to share a meal with your Sisters. (Breakfast included)

Golden Gate Bridge

September 13, 2026

Today, we’ll discover San Francisco’s scenic side with a local guide leading us through lush, open-air spaces. We’ll visit the Presidio Tunnel Tops, a new urban park with sweeping views of the Golden Gate, the Bay, and beyond. Then it’s off to Alamo Square to snap some photos of the iconic “Painted Ladies” with the city skyline in the background. We’ll gather this afternoon for a special Farewell Lunch to celebrate our incredible journey together. The rest of the day is yours to shop, explore, or relax with your Sisters. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

  • There will be a maximum of 38 Sisters on this tour, including your Sisterhood Travels Group Leader. Roommate matching available.
  • Airfare is not included in your pricing.
  • You will fly into Seattle (SEA) and out of San Francisco (SFO).
  • You must arrive on September 7 2026, and we strongly recommend that you arrive by 2:00 pm in order to have time to make the Welcome Dinner that evening. You may depart at any time on September 14, 2026.
  • Check-in time at your arrival hotel is at 3:00 pm.
  • All flight arrangements must be submitted to Sisterhood Travels on or before April 30, 2026. If you need help making flight arrangements, or to submit your independent flight arrangements, please click here for Airfare Information.
  • Real ID or valid passport is required to travel on this tour.
  • Included arrival transfers are provided only on September 7th from the Seattle airport to our hotel. Included departure transfers are only provided on September 14th from our hotel to the San Francisco airport. If you arrive or depart outside these days or you’re needing transfers or hotels elsewhere, you are responsible for making your own arrangements at your own expense.
  • Please don’t schedule any optional excursions on your own for this trip, as we cannot promise that you will arrive in time at any location to make your independent excursion. Sisterhood Travels won’t be liable for any expense you incur because of this.
  • Individual gratuities for your Tour Director, local guides, and coach driver are not included in your pricing. We will provide you with tipping guidelines for your trip.
  • We cannot accommodate wheelchairs, assistive devices, scooters, walkers or rollators, or Zimmer-frames. You must be able to ambulate independently with no assistance from devices or others on the trip. It is imperative that you read the activity level description below.

This Pacific Northwest-to-California adventure is perfect for women who enjoy exploring iconic cities, natural wonders, and charming coastal towns, all at a comfortable and manageable pace. While we’ll cover a lot of ground on this journey, the experiences are thoughtfully curated with plenty of breaks, beautiful views, and enriching moments along the way. Whether you’re strolling through Pike Place Market or standing beneath the towering redwoods, this trip blends light activity with awe-inspiring scenery and the joy of shared discovery.

Walking & Standing

Daily activities include light to moderate walking in both urban and natural settings. Expect walking tours on city sidewalks, market strolls, time at scenic viewpoints, and short nature walks at sites like Multnomah Falls, Yaquina Head, and Alamo Square. While most paths are paved or well-maintained, some areas like coastal trails or forested viewpoints, may include stairs, gravel, or uneven terrain. Standing during guided tours is common, but there are frequent opportunities to sit, rest, and enjoy the view. All walking is at a relaxed pace and never rushed.

Terrain, Transport & Accommodations

Throughout the trip, we travel in a private, comfortable motorcoach with ample rest stops along the way. You’ll enjoy a mix of stylish city hotels and charming regional accommodations, all selected for comfort, location, and service. Ferry and riverboat rides add scenic variety to our transportation, offering a fun and easy way to take in the natural beauty of the region.
