Welcome to New Mexico! This evening, we’ll meet our Tour Director at 5pm for a brief orientation and introductions to each other. Then, we’ll enjoy a Welcome Dinner to kick-off our Hot Air Balloon Festival and New Mexico adventure! (Dinner included)

Our adventure begins by spending the day enjoying the opening day festivities at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Our Gondola Club package gives us access to prime seating for the Mass Ascension balloon launch! After taking in the amazing hot air balloon scenery, you’ll have plenty of free time to explore the festival grounds, food vendors and join in celebrations. (Dinner)

Today, we’ll explore Albuquerque by starting our day in Old Town for a taste of history and culture. First, our Tour Director will guide us on a walking tour of the city’s public art and murals. Then, we’ll visit the Pueblo Cultural Center to learn about Pueblo culture from ancient times to the present. Tonight, we’ll enjoy dinner together at a restaurant featuring local cuisine. (Dinner)

This morning, we’ll begin our journey to Santa Fe, a city known for its art, culture, and history. We’ll spend the day by visiting the Georgia O’Keefe Museum to see the works of the famous artist. Later, we’ll take a guided walking tour of Santa Fe’s Historic Downtown. This evening, we’ll dine together with our Sisters at a local restaurant. (Dinner)

We’re going to make an early start as we spend our morning at the Santa Fe Railyard Park, a popular gathering place for locals and visitors alike! Then, we’ll enjoy the scenic drive to Chimayo, a town known for its traditional weavings and the Santuario de Chimayo, a holy site and pilgrimage destination. During our visit, we’ll experience a local weaving demonstration. Later, we’ll gather together for another delicious group dinner. (Breakfast and Dinner)

Today, we’re on to our next stop, the charming town of Taos! We’ll visit Taos Pueblo for a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only living Native American Community designated as such as well as a National Historic Landmark. Afterwards, we’ll have some time to explore the art galleries and shops of the historic Tao Plaza. Tonight, we have a fantastic Sisterhood dinner arranged at a local restaurant. Today, is a free day just for you and your Sisters! Enjoy some time to relax using your $100 spa voucher, shop, or enjoy a nice lunch in town. It’s a great opportunity to pamper yourself at the resort and have some downtime. We’ll meet tonight for a wonderful group dinner and share our memories from the day. (Dinner)
Hotel: The Blake at Taos Ski Valley, Taos
This morning, we’ll pack up for our check-out and begin our journey back to Albuquerque to enjoy some more hot air balloon festivities; but first, we’ll stop at the Sandia Peak Tramway for an amazing ride to the top of the peak. From the top, take in the views and enjoy our group lunch at the mountaintop restaurant. Once we return from the 10,300 ft. peak, we’ll get checked into our hotel and enjoy some time to relax before our group dinner. (Lunch and Dinner)

Welcome back to the Hot Air Balloon festivities. Enjoy the first part of your day enjoying the fiesta as you wish with your Sisters from our Hospitality Tent. Later on, we’ll join together for the closing ceremonies in the Gondola Club where we can watch the balloons light up the night sky during the Evening Glow Event. (Dinner)

Today is a free day in Albuquerque for you to relax, shop, eat, or culture with your Sisters! We’ll meet tonight for our delicious Farewell Dinner to share our memories of the day and to reflect on our last nine days in New Mexico. (Dinner)

Sadly, our time in New Mexico has come to an end. We’ll be transported back to the airport to being our journeys home, but not without incredible memories of New Mexico and the connections we’ve made with each other.

This is a moderately paced itinerary that involves some longer days and more activities. Expect some early hotel departures, and limited time for day time rest and rejuvenation as the itineraries are designed to ensure that you see as much as possible in these wonderful destinations. This may include longer coach journeys and guests should be able to join a walking tour lasting 1-2 hours with stops possibly over uneven terrain. Guests should have reasonable health and mobility and be comfortable with standing for longer periods of time with no difficulty.
