Welcome to Lithuania! Upon arrival, your driver will meet you at the Arrivals Hall in the Vilnius airport and transfer you to our perfectly-located hotel. The rest of the day is yours to rest, rejuvenate, or explore independently. This evening, join your Group Leader for an informal gathering to meet your new Sisters. (No meals included today)

After breakfast, venture out for independent exploration or relaxation as you please. This evening, we’ll savor a women-led chef’s table Welcome Dinner where a local Lithuanian chef unveils the cultural stories behind her dishes. Next, we’ll engage in a captivating talk with a female historian on women’s roles in Lithuania’s independence. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

July 12, 2026

Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a private walking tour through Vilnius’ enchanting Old town, strolling past Cathedral Square, Gediminas Tower, and the Gates of Dawn. Then, we’ll wander into Užupis, the quirky “Republic of Artists” to meet inspiring women artists before we enjoy a farm-to-table lunch at a women-owned bistro. This afternoon, we’ll enjoy a guided visit to the Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights which reveals Lithuania’s resilience, capped by sunset cocktails at a rooftop bar with panoramic skyline views. This morning, we’ll journey to Trakai Castle for a private storytelling session with a female historian, bringing its history to life. Next, let’s dive into a hands-on Kibinai cooking workshop with Karaim women, savoring lunch and their unique traditions. This afternoon, enjoy some free time with your Sisters for independent exploration. Tonight, we’ll gather together for an evening of wine tasting and storytelling with a Lithuanian sommelier over dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included)

We’ll embark on our journey to Riga, Latvia this morning with a stop at the famous Rundale Palace where we can enjoy a walk in the parks before continuing on. After checking into our historic Art Nouveau hotel, we’ll explore the city together with an exclusive women-led tour of its stunning architecture, including a peek inside a private residence. Our dinner together features a tasting menu of modern Latvian cuisine, followed by a private discussion with a Latvian female journalist on the renowned Singing Revolution. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll join a female chef for a guided tour of Riga’s vibrant Central Market, followed by a cooking class and lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll visit a women’s artisan collective to meet weavers and designers preserving Latvian textile heritage. Our evening promises to be spectacular as we take our VIP seats to an opera, ballet or special performance. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

Prepare to be wowed today as we drive to Jurmala, a charming seaside retreat! We’ll relax at a women-only spa with traditional Baltic sauna rituals before enjoying a fresh seafood lunch by the coast. After breakfast, we’ll travel to Tallinn and settle into our stylish design hotel in Old Town. We’ll visit the Occupation Museum for an exclusive talk on Estonia’s independence and Baltic Way. This morning, we’ll escape to Lahemaa National Park for a day in Estonia’s coastal wilderness. We’ll enjoy a home-cooked lunch with an Estonian woman sharing her family’s traditions before touring an historic manor house to uncover women’s roles in Estonia’s past. Later, we’ll return for a wine tasting and dinner at a local cellar.  (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included)

Following breakfast together, we’ll visit a women-led sustainable fashion brand for a behind-the scenes workshop tour. This afternoon, spend your leisure time with your Sisters shopping, relaxing at a spa, or independently exploring at your leisure. We’ll gather this evening in a private dining room for a fascinating and inspiring talk and exchange over dinner – be it an entrepreneur, advocate, or artist.  (Breakfast and Dinner included)

July 20, 2026

Enjoy a scenic 2-hour ferry ride in business class comfort as we head for Helsinki. We’ll check into our luxury boutique hotel, before exploring the city on a private walking tour, visiting Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Esplanadi Park, and the stunning central library (you’ve never seen anything like it!). We’ll cap our day together with fine dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant showcasing Finnish flavors.  (Breakfast and Dinner included)

After breakfast, we’ll tour the Marimekko headquarters with a private look at this iconic women-led design brand. Next, we’ll enjoy a light lunch at a chic Nordic café before experiencing a traditional Finnish sauna at the renowned Löyly waterfront. This evening features dinner with a Finnish women’s rights activist, who will share insights on gender equality. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included)

PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY

  • There will be a maximum of 17 Sisters including your Sisterhood Travels Group Leader. Roommate matching is available.
  • International airfare is not included in your pricing. You will fly into Vilnius, Lithuania (VNO) and depart from Helsinki, Finland (HEL)
  • You can arrive at any time into Vilnius on July 10, 2026, and depart at any time from Helsinki on July 23, 2026
  • Check-in time at our arrival hotel is at 3:00 pm.
  • All international flight arrangements must be submitted to Sisterhood Travels on or before April 10, 2026. If you need help making flight arrangements, or to submit your independent flight arrangements, please click here for Airfare Information.
  • Complete valid passport information is required on or before April 10, 2026. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the dates of your travel. Failure to provide this information by the due date may result in our inability to secure your group flights and any penalties incurred will be at your expense.
  • If you are traveling through London, effective for travel to the UK beginning on January 8, 2025, an ETA will be required for entry. Applications will be accepted online beginning on November 27, 2024, at the approximate cost of £10, subject to change based on governing authority. For more information please click here.
  • Effective for travel to the EU beginning on May 1, 2025, an ETIAS visa may be required for entry. Currently, applications are not being accepted as the final implementation date has not been announced. For more information please click here.
  • Arrival transfers are provided only on July 10th from the Vilnius airport to our hotel. Departure transfers are only provided on July 23rd from our hotel to the Helsinki airport. If you arrive or depart outside these days and times, or you’re needing transfers or hotels elsewhere, you are responsible for making your own arrangements at your own expense.
  • Please don’t schedule any optional excursions on your own for this trip, as we cannot promise that you will arrive in time at any location to make your independent excursion. Sisterhood Travels won’t be liable for any expense you incur because of this.
  • Individual gratuities for your Tour Director, local guides, and drivers are not included in your pricing. We will provide you with tipping guidelines for your trip
  • Travel Insurance is strongly recommended for this trip and is not included in your pricing. We will send you a quote via email.
  • We cannot accommodate wheelchairs, assistive devices, scooters, walkers or rollators, or Zimmer-frames. You must be able to ambulate independently with no assistance from devices or others on the trip. It is imperative that you read the activity level description below.

Activity Level:

Moderate

This adventure is perfect for travelers with a reasonable level of fitness who are comfortable walking up to 1-2 miles per day, handling occasional stairs, and navigating historic city streets with cobblestones and uneven terrain. While there is plenty of free time to rest and recharge, participants should be prepared for an itinerary that includes walking tours, cultural experiences, and travel days with varied activity levels.

Walking & Standing

Daily guided walking tours in Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, and Helsinki involve exploring historic old towns with cobblestone streets, some mild inclines, and occasional stairs. Visits to museums and cultural sites often require standing for extended periods. Market visits, artisan workshops, and guided tours include walking through large indoor and outdoor spaces. At Trakai Castle and Rundale Palace, expect to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs, and explore large courtyards and gardens. Lahemaa National Park includes light walking on natural terrain, but no strenuous hiking.

Scenic Drives & Long Travel Days

Intercity travel includes long but scenic drives between Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, with a mix of bus rides and rest stops. A 2-hour ferry ride from Tallinn to Helsinki is included, with comfortable seating and smooth sailing conditions.

Cultural & Hands-On Experiences

A variety of interactive experiences, such as a Kibinai cooking classLatvian textile workshop, and Finnish sauna experience, involve standing and light movement. A sunset river cruise in Riga and a wine tasting evening in Tallinn require getting on and off boats or seated venues but are leisurely paced.
