Today, you’ll arrive in Prague and be welcomed by your private driver who will transfer you to our hotel. This evening, we’ll meet our new Sisters for a welcome drink and an informational meeting.
Hotel: The Prague Cosmopolitan Hotel
This morning, after breakfast, we’ll enjoy an included sightseeing tour of Prague on our deluxe motorcoach. This afternoon, you can choose to join our optional Food Tour or visit the Christmas markets. (Breakfast)
Today, after breakfast, we’ll join our local guides for our included “Prague Like a Local” walking tour. This afternoon, we’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the Christmas Markets. This evening, you may choose to opt for our optional Prague Folklore Dinner. (Breakfast)
After breakfast, this morning is yours to relax or grab those last-minute items from the Prague Christmas Markets. We’ll transfer by deluxe motor coach from Prague to Nuremberg at about noon. Our journey will be about 3 ½ hours.
Upon arrival in Nuremberg, we’ll board our beautiful ship, the Avalon Tranquility II. After check-in, we’ll gather together for a Welcome Party with our Cruise Director which will be followed by a delectable 4-course dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Today, we’ll spend time in Nuremberg where you can choose from one of these included tours: A guided tour of Nuremberg’s medieval architecture, gilded fountain, Gothic cathedral, and Kaiserburg Castle; OR a guided tour of the historic Nuremberg Rally Grounds used by the Third Reich.
You’ll also have time to browse the spruce stalls of the Christmas Markets. Sample favorite Bavarian fare including bratwurst, gingerbread, mulled blueberry wine, and countless other Christkindlmarkt culinary delights.
This evening, after dinner, we’re bringing live entertainment aboard to enjoy as we cruise to Bamberg. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Bamberg is a place to learn about Christmas customs and cradle scenes. You’ll be able to join us for our guided sightseeing tour of the city, the medieval home of Germany’s Roman Empire dynasties. Take the opportunity to stroll through dozens of Bamberg’s nativity scenes, from miniature to life-size.
You’ll want to take some of your free time to enjoy the quaint Christmas markets and warm up with traditional German dumplings, sausage, and glass of hearty Bavarian ale.
This evening, we’re going to hold the party of the century! Join the Sisterhood Travels Ugly Christmas Pajama Party! We’re bringing a live band aboard the ship so that we can dance the night away as we enjoy the holidays and each other. And, don’t forget we’ll have a contest as well as refreshments!
Tonight, when we lay our heads down, we’ll be cruising to Wurzburg. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
This morning, after breakfast, join our guided sightseeing tour of the “Pearl of the Romantic Road” with it’s Old Main Bridge, towering fortress and baroque Bishop’s Residence. You may wish to opt for an alternate optional guided excursion to the beautiful Bavarian town of Rothenburg. You’ll visit the Kathe Wohlfahrt German Christmas Museum which holds the world’s most extensive collection of traditional German Christmas decorations.
Of course, you’ll want to spend some free time enjoying the festive, warm glow of Wurzburg’s Christmas markets. Tonight, we’ll cruise to Main River Village. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
This morning we’ll take a guided tour of this picturesque village along the Main River. This afternoon and evening, we’ll be sailing to Frankfurt. Tonight, we’re bringing aboard live entertainment and we’ll enjoy our Farewell Cocktail Party. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Sadly, our time together ends today. As we depart for the Frankfurt airport to catch our flights home, we’ll all hold in our hearts the best trip we’ve ever taken together with our new best friends and Sisters. (Breakfast)
