Upon arrival to Vancouver, we’ll whisk you away in your private transportation to the 5-star Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is known as the ‘Castle in the City, symbolizing timeless elegance and luxury since 1939. Holding a prime downtown location just minutes from Vancouver’s biggest attractions, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver offers guests elegant accommodations with updated modern amenities in a historic Downtown Vancouver luxury hotel. Be sure to arrive in time for our Welcome Cocktail Party from 6 pm – 7 pm at the hotel!
Today, our Rocky Mountaineer representative will meet us in the lobby, and we’ll board our private coach to the train station. We’ll be traveling from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. On today’s journey, we’ll see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Breakfast & lunch are included onboard. Our day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Our private coach will take us to the Kamloops Hotel where we’ll spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in our hotel rooms.
Early this morning, we will be transferred by motorcoach to the train siding from our hotel. We’ll board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station to continue our journey east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes, and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels, and the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Breakfast and lunch are included onboard. Your expected arrival at Lake Louise is between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM. Upon arrival at the Lake Louise Station, our private coach will take us to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Hotel. Surrounded by soaring mountain peaks, the majestic Victoria Glacier, and a glistening emerald lake, the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel is located in Alberta’s Banff National Park. Discover endless outdoor recreational activities, including hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, and river rafting.
Today is a free day, and you’ll be able to use your included National Parks Pass! First, we enjoy a private Group Breakfast at the Fairmont. Be sure to come back hungry this evening as we’ll gather together for an included Group Dinner at our hotel.
This morning, we’ll join together with our Sisters for a private Group Breakfast at the Fairmont. Next, we’ll board our private motorcoach and enjoy a sightseeing tour through Yoho National Park. Later, we’ll transfer to Banff to the Rimrock Resort Hotel. An AAA/CAA Four Diamond Hotel located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies and Banff National Park, the Rimrock Resort Hotel offers exceptional views of the Canadian Rockies, fine dining, and a luxury spa. With unmatched style, decor, and superb hospitality, the Rimrock Resort Hotel is a very special place to visit for a truly remarkable experience.
Today, we’ll meet for our private Group Breakfast at our hotel. Next, we’ll board our private motorcoach and enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour along the magnificent Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are Bow Lake, the Athabasca Falls, and the Columbia Icefields. This icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle, as well as being one of the most accessible in North America. Here you will ride a unique Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier and learn more about its geological features. Think of it like a “monster truck meets glacier” adventure where you learn new things! Later, we’ll take the ultimate adventure when we visit the Glacier Skywalk! Consisting of a 400-meter (1,640 feet) interpretive boardwalk and a glass-floored observation platform extending 30 meters (98 feet) out over the Sunwapta Valley, Glacier Skywalk takes spectacular scenery and a rare view of nature to unbelievable heights. We’ll also enjoy a Group Lunch together with our Sisters.

Our journey takes us through a spectacular array of scenery as we travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes, and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, and Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. Breakfast and lunch are included onboard. You will arrive in Kamloops between 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm PT. Spend the evening exploring the city or relaxing in your hotel.

Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Breakfast and lunch will be served onboard. We will arrive in Vancouver between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Upon our arrival at the Vancouver Station, we will be transferred by motorcoach to our hotel. We’ll be returning to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.
This morning, we’ll enjoy a private Group Breakfast before heading out on our private full-day sightseeing tour of Vancouver and the North Shore with our local step-on guide. We’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver and the spectacular North Shore with breathtaking views of the city, ocean, and surrounding mountains. Highlights include Chinatown, Gastown, and Granville Island, the 137 meters (450 feet) Capilano Suspension Bridge, and the Grouse Mountain Skyride. This evening, we’ll enjoy our Farewell Dinner in Vancouver together!
This morning, after our Group Breakfast at the Fairmont, pre-arranged transfers will take you back to the airport, where sadly, we’ll all be returning home.
This is a leisurely paced itinerary and is full of cultural and interesting sightseeing and some free time to relax. Some excursion days may include reasonably early starts, some longer coach travel and possibly walking over uneven terrain. Guests should have reasonable health and mobility.
