Today, you’ll arrive in Lima, Peru, where you’ll meet all of your Sisters. When you arrive at the airport, your car will be waiting to whisk you away to check into your hotel. Today, we’ll enjoy some guided sightseeing including the Plaza de Armas, the Government Palace, Cathedral, and San Francisco Monastery. We’ll also have a visit with tastings at a Peruvian food market. This evening, you’re in for a treat as we enjoy a Welcome Dinner at Casa Garcia Alvarado (one of Lima’s finest historic homes). This morning we’ll fly on a group flight to Cusco where we will visit the Sacred Valley. We’ll enjoy a lakeside lunch followed by an El Pago a la Tierra (Mother Earth Ceremony) with local shaman. Next, we’ll visit Pisac village and its famous market. This evening we’ll join together for our dinner. (B, L, D) Hotel: Casa Andina Premium Cusco
This morning after breakfast, we’ll journey to our guided sightseeing tour with a Local Guide to the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo. Then, we’ll visit a local Peruvian home and meet the family. The highlight of our day will be a scenic ride on the Vistadome train through the Urubamba Valley on our way to Machu Picchu where we’ll have a Local Guide who will lead us. Tonight, we’ll partake in a Pisco Sour demonstration and dinner together at our hotel. (B, L, D) Hotel: Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel
This morning, you’ll have your second included entrance to Machu Picchu. We’ll then take the afternoon train to the Sacred Valley and later, transfer back to Cusco. This evening is yours for rest, relaxation, and independent exploration. (B, L) Hotel: Casa Andina Premium Cusco
After breakfast, we’ll spend the morning sightseeing with a Local Guide including visits to the Cathedral and Santo Domingo Monastery. Next, we’ll participate in the Inka King greeting and visits to Kenko Amphitheater and the Temple of Sacsayhuaman. This morning, we’ll fly to Juliaca. Upon arrival, we’ll take a scenic drive to the shores of Lake Titicaca. (B, D) Hotel: GHL Lago Titicaca
Today, from Puno, we’ll take a scenic boat ride to Taquile and the Uros Floating Islands. Later, we’ll enjoy guided sightseeing of Lake Titicaca including a local home visit and lunch. (B, L, D) Hotel: GHL Lago Titicaca
Today, we’ll head to Sillustani with a Local Guide to visit the Pre-Incan Burial Ground and a local home. Later, we will fly back to Lima where the evening is yours to do as you wish. (B) Hotel: Casa Andina Premium Miraflores
This morning, we’re going to take a scenic drive along the Pan-American Highway to the Bay of Paracas where we’ll board our scenic cruise to the Ballestas Islands in search of sea mammals, blue-footed boobies, sea lions, and Humboldt penguins. We’ll also be able to see the huge Candelabro etching on the Paracas Cliffside. Next, from Pisco, we’ll be flightseeing over the the 500-BC Nazca Lines which are the mysterious drawings of animals and geometric figures etched into the desert. Today, we’ll journey back to Lima. This evening, we’ll meet together for our Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D) Hotel: Casa Andina Premium Miraflores
After breakfast, we’ll be transferring back to the Lima Airport for our flights home. (B)
This is a moderately paced itinerary that involves some longer days and more activities. Expect some early hotel departures, and limited time for day time rest and rejuvenation as the itineraries are designed to ensure that you see as much as possible in these wonderful destinations. This may include longer coach journeys and guests should be able to join a walking tour lasting 1-2 hours with stops possibly over uneven terrain. Guests should have reasonable health and mobility and be comfortable with standing for longer periods of time with no difficulty.
