January 20, 2026

Welcome to Casablanca, Morocco. Once you’ve passed through immigration and customs, your driver will meet you in the Arrivals Hall to transport you to our centrally located hotel. This evening, join your Group Leaders and new Sisters for an informal meet and greet. (No meals are included today)

Today, we’ll transfer to Chefchaouen, the Blue City”, situated in the Rif Mountains. A photographer’s paradise, Chefchaoeun’s narrow, steep cobbled streets and red-walled Kasbah are remarkable sights! Tonight, we’ll join together for a wonderful Welcome Dinner. (Breakfast and Dinner included today)

January 22, 2026

This morning, we’ll explore Chefchaouen including the 15th-century Kasbah and the town’s Grand Mosque. We’ll explore the narrow lanes and walk by the many handicraft shops, where you can find the wool garments and woven blankets that are unique to this region. After our city tour, we’ll head to Akchour for lunch. Later, enjoy the rest of your afternoon and evening with your Sisters. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

January 23, 2026

Today, we’ll say farewell to the blue city and head to Tangier. We’ll stop in Tetouan and learn about Spanish influence in northern Morocco during a city tour that includes a visit to the old medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, we’ll arrive in Tangier in the early afternoon and get a glimpse of this port before we head to our hotel. Enjoy some leisure time with your Sisters. (Breakfast included)

January 24, 2026

We will start our day with a guided tour of Tangier, the main port city of Northern Morocco and the gateway between Europe and Africa. We’ll visit the old town and the American Legation Museum for a better understanding of diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Morocco. After, we’ll travel like locals aboard a train to Rabat to continue our Moroccan adventure. Upon arrival, our Tour Director will take us on a vicinity walk to get acquainted with the area around our hotel. (Breakfast included)

Come to know Rabat on an in-depth tour with a local expert who will share his knowledge of this city and its architectural gems. We’ll visit the Chella, a walled town containing both Roman ruins and a medieval necropolis. Next, we’ll explore the mausoleum of Mohammed V, the epitome of modern Moroccan design. Later, we’ll see the Kasbah de Oudaias and its whitewashed buildings. Enjoy some free time with your Sisters this afternoon before we join together for dinner at a local restaurant. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

January 27, 2026

Get ready to discover Fes, one of the holiest cities in the world. We’ll learn about its history as a center of government, philosophy, medicine, and religion. Together, we’ll visit the royal palace and Al-Qarawiyyin University (UNESCO), the oldest continuously operating university in the world, admiring its high arches and Andalusian influences. On a walking tour of the ninth-century medina, we’ll explore the alleyways and stalls of this ancient market. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Today, we’ll discover Morocco’s fascinating history as we travel to Volubilis and Meknes. Meknes, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco, is where we’ll see the Bab Mansour gate, one of the best examples of Almohad architecture. Next, we’ll enjoy lunch together at a local restaurant. Then, we’ll travel to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its impressive and well-preserved Roman ruins, one of the most important Roman sites in North Africa. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

This morning, we’ll cross some of Morocco’s most breathtaking desert landscapes on the way to the Sahara. En route, we’ll pause in Midelt to bask in majestic views of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Later, we’ll arrive in Erfoud, called the “Door to the Desert”, and where many famous movies were filmed, including The Prince of Persia and The Mummy. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included)

This morning, we’ll get to know about local life at El Maadid Ksar, a village with narrow lanes surrounded by ancient, fortified walls. Spend some time with your Sisters walking through town and get an authentic look into how local people live, like the farmers who spend their days tending to fields on the outskirts of the village. This evening, we’ll make our way into the Sahara aboard Jeep 4×4’s for a two-night stay in a luxury tented camp in the desert, under the stars. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Rise early this morning to watch the sun illuminate the Sahara in stunning hues of orange, yellow, and red. You’ll have the opportunity to ride through the dunes on the back of a camel. We’ll continue our day by traveling to the village of Khamlia where we’ll meet locals for an eye-opening and meaningful discussion before experiencing traditional sub-Saharan Gnawa music. The next stop will bring us to meet a nomadic group. Here, we’ll learn about this ancient way of living and how its traditions have changed. Later, we’ll return to our camp as the sun sets over the desert. This evening, we’ll learn more about the importance of Islam in Morocco through the centuries and its impact on today’s day-to-day life in sub-Saharan Africa. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included)

February 1, 2026

We’ll return to the edge of the desert this morning and marvel as the sun illuminates the sweeping sands. Next, we’ll visit the fortified village of El Khorbat which showcases Jewish and Muslim architecture and artifacts. Learn more about Berber culture while visiting the museum within the village. We’ll enjoy a simple lunch at a local restaurant, whose profits are used to conserve the cultural heritage and improve the living conditions of this small community. Later, we’ll arrive in Boumaine du Dades, where a golden sun lights up the gorge’s river valleys, palmeraies, and burnished mud-brick homes. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included)

February 2, 2026

Follow the rugged “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” where turreted fortresses rise up like sandcastles along this ancient trading route. We’ll arrive at the UNESCO site of the Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou and discover the earthen buildings, defensive walls, and corner towers that make the Ksar a striking feat of Moroccan architecture. Before we reach the exotic city of Marrakech, we’ll enjoy a homemade meal, and then continue along the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, a scenic route through lush oasis valleys, imposing mountains, and Berber villages. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

Among the mosques and palaces, souks, and riads, we’ll visit the Jardin Majorelle, an iconic site that showcases the beauty and ingenuity of Morocco’s cultural heritage. Next, we’ll visit the ancient El Bahia palace, whose architecture is a distinct blend of both Islamic and Moroccan styles. Then, it’s your choice! Embark on a walking tour with a local guide, stopping at shops along the way, OR, relax in a traditional hammam, a community bathhouse where locals still gather to relax, cleanse and socialize today, OR, return to the hotel to relax by the pool. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

February 4, 2026

Today, we’ll join a local women’s training center for an interactive cooking class. We’ll head to a garden on the property to source our herbs and vegetables and learn the secret to making the country’s most celebrated dish: tagine. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure with your Sisters. This evening, we’ll travel by carriage and experience Jemaa el Fna, the main square of Marrakech, in a whole new light. Smell the intoxicating culinary creations from the food stalls and listen to the rhythms of local musicians and entertainers. Later, we’ll enjoy dinner at a local restaurant together. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included)

February 5, 2026

This morning, we’ll depart Marrakech for Casablanca. Upon arrival, we’ll visit the largest functioning mosque in Africa, the Hassan II Mosque, where you can learn about the history and the significance of this mosque on our privately led tour. Tonight, we’ll celebrate our Moroccan adventure at a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Sadly, our time together comes to an end today. We’ll transfer back to the airport for our return flights home.  (Breakfast included)

  • There will be a maximum of 20 Sisters including your Sisterhood Travels Group Leaders. Roommate matching is available.
  • International airfare is not included in your pricing. You will fly roundtrip Casablanca, Morocco (CMN)
  • You can arrive at any time on January 20, 2026. You can depart at any time on February 6, 2026.
  • Check-in time at our arrival hotel is at 3:00 pm.
  • All international flight arrangements must be submitted to Sisterhood Travels on or before September 25, 2025. If you need help making flight arrangements, or to submit your independent flight arrangements, please click here for Airfare Information.
  • Arrival transfers are provided only on January 20, 2026, from the Casablanca airport to our hotel. Departure transfers are only provided on February 6, 2026, to the Casablanca airport. If you arrive or depart outside these days and times, or you’re needing transfers or hotels elsewhere, you are responsible for making your own arrangements at your own expense.
  • Complete valid passport information is required on or before September 25, 2025. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the dates of your travel.
  • This trip requires that you have the ability to walk or stand for up to 2 hours at a time, some of which may be on steep inclines or cobblestone walkways and keep pace with the group. We will travel by train and by motor coach.
  • You will need an overnight bag for our 2-night stay in the Sahara. Your large luggage will be stored on the bus in a secure location.
  • Please don’t schedule any optional excursions on your own for this trip, as we cannot promise that you will arrive in time at any location to make your independent excursion. Sisterhood Travels won’t be liable for any expense you incur because of this.
  • Individual gratuities for your Tour Director, local guides, and drivers are not included in your pricing. We will provide you with tipping guidelines for your trip
  • Travel Insurance is strongly recommended and is not included in your pricing. We will send you a quote via email.
  • We cannot accommodate wheelchairs or assistive mobility devices on this trip.
  • There are no refunds for unused portions of this tour.
  • Dates and times of itinerary as well as hotels listed are subject to change without notice due to operational, weather, or logistical reasons.

This is a consistently robust itinerary that is likely to be filled with a combination of long, active days, several early hotel departures and some long journeys by coach. There may be limited time for rest and rejuvenation as you explore these amazing destinations. There may be multiple flights and travel by non-traditional means such as safari vehicles, rickshaws/pedicabs, etc. Guests should have reasonable health and mobility and be capable of walking 1-2 miles over time over potentially difficult terrain which may include hills. Guests should be comfortable with standing for longer periods of time with no difficulty.
