SPAIN WITH THE SISTERHOOD

October 10 – 24, 2026

A Journey of Culture, Connection & Celebration

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Adventure
for Just 16 Women

Picture yourself wandering Madrid’s cobblestone streets, savoring paella in Valencia, and standing in awe beneath Gaudí’s La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. This October, join us for Spain with The Sisterhood 2026, a 15-day women-only adventure that blends culture, history, cuisine, and connection into the trip of a lifetime. From Moorish palaces to seaside villages, every detail is thoughtfully curated for an unforgettable balance of discovery and relaxation.

Together, we’ll explore Spain’s most iconic cities—Madrid, Córdoba, Seville, Granada, Valencia, Barcelona, Girona, and the Costa Brava—each brimming with charm and story. Along the way, you’ll savor tapas and sangria, marvel at UNESCO World Heritage sites, and dive into Spain’s artistic treasures from the Prado Museum to the Dalí Theatre-Museum. And because this is a Sisterhood journey, every moment is shared with like-minded women who love travel, laughter, and meaningful connection.

It’s not just sightseeing—it’s about experiencing Spain like a local. We’ll taste olive oil at a family grove, shop vibrant markets, and ride the AVE high-speed train across the countryside. You’ll also have time to slow down—sip cava by the sea, browse boutiques, or unwind on Costa Brava’s golden coast. We’ll close with a special farewell dinner overlooking the Mediterranean, celebrating new friendships and lifelong memories.

This immersive journey through Spain is best suited for women who are comfortable with full sightseeing days that include substantial walking, standing, and navigating historic city centers. With a mix of cultural depth, walking tours, and time for exploration, this itinerary offers rich rewards for travelers prepared for an active pace.

Walking & Standing: Expect daily walking, often 2+ miles, through historic neighborhoods, cobblestone streets, and uneven sidewalks. Guided city tours in Madrid, Córdoba, Seville, Valencia, and Barcelona all require extended time on your feet. Highlights such as the Alhambra in Granada (3.5 hours with only one short break) and La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona involve standing in line up to 30 minutes before entering. The Barcelona city walking tour lasts approximately 3 hours through crowded areas. Free time often allows for additional exploration on foot if desired.

Terrain, Transport & Accommodations: Buses are not permitted in historic centers, so at times the group will be dropped off at one location and picked up at another. Sisters who opt out of walking tours must arrange their own transfers to the designated meeting spot. Boarding and disembarking Spain’s high-speed trains and motorcoaches will also be part of the journey. Hotels are centrally located, allowing easy access to city sights but requiring walking through bustling urban areas.

Pace & Considerations: This is a lively, enriching itinerary with multiple UNESCO World Heritage Sites, guided tours, and cultural experiences. While some days include free time for rest, most sightseeing days are busy and active, with limited opportunities to sit during tours. Sisters should feel confident managing long periods of walking and standing to fully enjoy the magic of Spain.
