LUXURY SAFARI WITH SISTERHOOD TRAVELS

October 15 - 28, 2026

A soul-stirring luxury safari
across Southern Africa

There are some journeys we take for fun, and there are others that change us forever. This is one of those journeys. Our Luxury Safari with Sisterhood Travels is more than just a bucket list trip: it’s an extraordinary, soul-stirring experience crafted exclusively for women over 45 who are ready to explore the heart of Africa in comfort, connection, and confidence.

From the moment we land in Johannesburg, we’re stepping into a world that’s wild, luxurious, and deeply meaningful. Over the next two weeks, we’ll witness the thunder of Victoria Falls, sip wine in the shadow of Table Mountain, and cruise through the golden waters of the Chobe River at sunset. We’ll connect with local communities, hear the drumbeat of ancient traditions, and lock eyes with elephants, lions, and leopards in the wild. This isn’t a tourist’s safari—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime luxury African safari for women, curated for those who crave authenticity, beauty, and deeper connection.

With just 16 women in our group, this is an intimate, all-inclusive experience that blends five-star accommodations with the kind of moments that stay with you forever—sunrise game drives through the Kapama Private Game Reserve, dinner on the Zambezi River, and quiet time on your private terrace where the African sky feels close enough to touch. This trip is ideal for solo women travelers, whether you’re venturing out on your own for the first time or you’re a seasoned explorer, you’ll feel welcomed, safe, and instantly connected to a supportive group of like-minded women. We specialize in luxury safaris for solo female travelers who are ready to say yes to something extraordinary.

Kapama River Lodge 02

This is Africa through the eyes of The Sisterhood: unfiltered, unforgettable, and undeniably empowering. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to say yes to yourself, to experience the magic of Africa, and to be part of something truly exceptional… the time is now.

Activity Level:

Moderate

ACTIVITY LEVEL: 3 Moderate

This once-in-a-lifetime journey through Southern Africa combines the best of luxury and adventure, from the mighty Chobe River to the thundering Victoria Falls, the vineyards of Cape Town, and the wild beauty of the Greater Kruger Park. Designed for women who are comfortable with light to moderate activity, this itinerary blends exhilarating safari experiences with cultural immersion, scenic touring, and well-deserved relaxation at some of Africa’s finest lodges.

Walking & Standing

You can expect light to moderate walking on most days. City and cultural sightseeing in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Victoria Falls includes walking through airports, gardens, museums, markets, and heritage sites, sometimes over uneven ground or cobblestone pathways. Guided tours may include periods of standing while listening to commentary, and some locations (such as Table Mountain or Cape Point) involve optional uphill walking, or short stair climbs for the best views.

Game drives are conducted in open-air 4×4 safari vehicles, which require climbing in and out using several high steps and sometimes maneuvering over seats to access the rows. Guests should be comfortable doing this several times a day. The vehicles have no doors or windows, allowing for unobstructed views and fresh air, but this also means you’ll be exposed to the elements, especially during early morning and evening drives when temperatures can be cooler.

For the sunset and river cruises, embarkation is done via stable docks, but mild balance is required when boarding or disembarking boats.

Transportation & Accessibility

You’ll travel by scheduled group flights, safari vehicles, and comfortable motorcoaches. Some airport transfers are by foot through terminals or across paved walkways, and the safari vehicles have elevated seating accessed by climbing a few high steps. Because luggage space on safari flights is limited, guests must adhere to baggage weight and size restrictions (details provided before departure).

Participants should be comfortable walking unassisted, managing their own carry-on items, and climbing in and out of vehicles without support from staff.

Pacing & Accommodations

This itinerary is designed with balance in mind. Multi-night stays at each lodge allow for rest between active days, and plenty of time is built in for spa visits, poolside relaxation, and quiet reflection. Safari days typically include early morning and late afternoon game drives with leisure time between. City days are moderately paced, offering a combination of guided touring and free time for personal exploration. All accommodations are 4.4 and 5-star luxury properties selected for comfort, service, and authentic ambiance. Most meals are included, and all activities are led by expert local guides and rangers.
