From the bustling streets of Seattle to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, this itinerary promises a blend of urban exploration, natural beauty, and camaraderie among fellow women travelers.
Our adventure kicks off in Seattle, where you’ll be whisked away to our luxurious hotel, the Thompson Seattle. Prepare to meet your new Sisters at our Welcome Dinner, setting the stage for the exciting days ahead. The following morning, we dive into the heart of Seattle with visits to the historic Pioneer Square and the colorful Pike Place Market. As we venture further, the tour will take us across the serene waters of Puget Sound and into the volcanic wonders of Mount St. Helens. Each stop is more than just a visit—it’s an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and create memories with like-minded women.
As we journey south into Oregon, the landscapes shift and so do our experiences. The lush valleys of Willamette and the rugged cliffs along the Oregon coast will offer us not only spectacular views but also moments of introspection and joy. Whether it’s sipping local wines, exploring tide pools at Cobble Beach, or marveling at the ancient heights of the Redwoods, every day promises new discoveries and shared delights. Welcome to Seattle! Your driver will transport you to our wonderful hotel. This evening, join your Sisters for a Welcome Dinner. (Dinner included)

September 1, 2025
This morning we’ll explore Seattle’s colorful waterfront area and historic Pioneer Square with a local guide. You’ll be able to mingle with artisans at the lively Pike Place Market, a famous fish and vegetable market dotted with restaurants and shops. Later, we’ll travel by Washington State Ferry across Puget Sound to Bremerton – Seattle’s skyline is spectacular from the water! Back on land, we’ll travel south through Olympia, stopping at the Mount St. Helens Visitor Center where we’ll learn about its 1980 volcanic eruption as well as the history and geology of the state park. Later, we’ll continue to Portland, Oregon for our two-night stay in the picturesque “City of Roses”. (Breakfast included)

September 2, 2025
This morning we’ll drive along the Mt. Hood route to the lush Columbia River Gorge. You’ll be able to take in unforgettable views of Mt. Hood as we leave the valley and enter the Cascade Mountains. We’ll discover the awe-inspiring landscapes of the magnificent Columbia River and Multnomah Falls, a 611-foot roaring cascade. Later, we’ll enjoy a wine-tasting at a local vineyard followed by a visit to a lavender farm. Tonight, we’ll join together for dinner at a local restaurant. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

September 3, 2025
Today, on our way to the Oregon coast, we’ll journey through the Willamette Valley. Today known for its wine that rivals that of Napa, this was once the “Promised Land” for the pioneers who followed the Oregon Trail. On the coast, we’ll stop at the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, a 93-foot tower buffeted by wind and rain since 1872. Enjoy time at the interpretive center or make your way down to Cobble Beach to explore the tide pools of colorful sea anemones and starfish. We’ll stop in the seaside town of Newport before traveling further along the coast. We’ll end our day strolling North Bend’s lively boardwalk, perched along scenic Coos Bay. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

September 4, 2025
This morning, after breakfast, we’ll drive to Bandon State Natural Area where you can take in the breathtaking scenery as we travel along the striking Beach Loop. See Bandon Rocks and Face Rock, famous for their American Indian legends. We’ll stop to enjoy a cruise up the spectacular Rogue River, taking us into Oregon’s rugged wilderness for a chance to see bald eagles, cormorants, seals and blue heron. Later, we’ll continue south to California’s redwood country, traveling through Redwood National Park, home to trees that can reach nearly 300 feet. You’ll see for yourself why the sun seldom hits the ground! (Breakfast and Lunch included)

September 5, 2025
Today, we’ll return to the majestic beauty and grandeur of the redwood forest as we traverse the “Avenue of the Giants”, a scenic highway loaded with towering redwoods. Next, we’ll drive over the legendary Golden Gate Bridge and arrive in the “City by the Bay”, San Francisco. Tonight, enjoy dinner independently with your Sisters at any of the many restaurants in this eclectic city. (Breakfast included)

September 6, 2025
We’ll join a local guide today to hear stories of the city’s past and present as we drive past its famous landmarks including Fisherman’s Wharf, the Presidio and the Golden Gate Bridge. You’ll also see the iconic neighborhoods of Chinatown, North Beach and Haight Ashbury. After our Farewell Lunch, the rest of the day and evening is yours for independent exploration and dining with your Sisters. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

September 7, 2025
All good things must come to an end, but not without treasured memories of our new friends and Sisters. We’ll transfer to the San Francisco airport for our flights home. (Breakfast included)

- There will be a maximum of 44 Sisters on this tour, including your Sisterhood Travels Group Leaders. Roommate matching available.
- Airfare is not included in your pricing.
- You will fly into Seattle (SEA) and out of San Francisco (SFO)
- You must arrive on August 31, 2025, and we strongly recommend that you arrive by 2:00 pm in order to have time to make the Welcome Dinner that evening. You may depart at any time on September 7, 2025.
- Check-in time at your arrival hotel is at 3:00 pm.
- All flight arrangements must be submitted to Sisterhood Travels on or before April 30, 2025. If you need help making flight arrangements, or to submit your independent flight arrangements, please click here for Airfare Information.
- Included arrival transfers are provided only on August 31, 2025, from the Seattle airport to our hotel. Included departure transfers are only provided on September 7, 2025, from our hotel to the San Francisco airport. If you arrive or depart outside these days and/or you need transfers or hotels elsewhere, you are responsible for making your own arrangements at your own expense.
- Please don’t schedule any optional excursions on your own for this trip, as we cannot promise that you will arrive in time at any location to make your independent excursion. Sisterhood Travels won’t be liable for any expense you incur because of this.
- Individual gratuities for your Tour Director, local guides, and coach driver are not included in your pricing. We will provide you with tipping guidelines for your trip.
- Optional Travel Insurance is not included in your pricing. We will send you a quote via email.

- There are no refunds for unused portions of this tour.
