Welcome to Dublin! Upon arrival, your driver will meet you at the Arrivals Hall in the airport and transfer you to our hotel in Dublin. You’ll have the rest of the day and evening to rest, relax, and rejuvenate. This evening, join your Group Leader for an informal Meet & Greet to get to know your new Sisters. (No meals are included today)

This morning after breakfast, join your Sisters at your leisure for independent exploration of Dublin by using your included Hop-On-Hop-Off bus passes. There are plenty of museums of Irish interest such as the National Museum, the National Gallery or Epic Ireland. There are also plenty of shops along Nassau Street and the pedestrianized Grafton or Henry streets. You and your Sisters may wish to explore Temple Bar or visit some of the traditional pubs. Whatever you do, we know you’ll have fun together! (Breakfast included)

This morning, we’ll meet our Tour Director and a local guide for a panoramic city tour of Dublin. We’ll be making a stop to visit Trinity College to see the Book of Kells, an 8th century illuminated manuscript of the gospels and the Old Library. Enjoy some free downtime before we drive to Trocadero, a renowned theatre restaurant decorated with lavish red curtains and photos of famous actors. Here, we’ll enjoy our official Welcome Dinner with traditional Irish fare.  (Breakfast and Dinner included)

This morning, we’ll depart Dublin and head to a local farmhouse to enjoy a tour and freshly baked scones. Next, we’ll travel through the Irish countryside into Waterford and stop to tour the House of Waterford Crystal. While here, we’ll learn about glass blowing, cutting and see one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Later, we’ll continue our drive to Cork where we’ll have some time to get settled in our rooms before dining together. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

After breakfast, we’ll set off on a guided walking tour of Cork to see Shandon Church, a famous Cork landmark dating from 1722 and Crawford Art Gallery. We’ll also view Paul Street, known for its trendy restaurants and shops. We’ll stop to visit the English Market, which first opened in 1788. This market allows consumers to explore and sample a variety of produce from all corners of the globe. Later, we’ll drive into Blarney, where you can opt to climb the battlements of Blarney Castle and kiss the famous “Stone of Eloquence.” Next, we’ll continue along Moll’s Gap, a panoramic route on our way to Killarney. This evening, we’ll enjoy a delicious meal together at our hotel. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

September 24, 2025

Today, we’ll embark on a horse-drawn jaunting car ride through the grounds of the Killarney National Park. Then, we’ll set off to discover the beauties of the Dingle Peninsula, once described by the National Geographic Traveler as “the most beautiful place on earth.” We’ll drive along the south shore of the peninsula for plenty of vistas of heathery mountains, sandy stretches of beach, stunning green landscapes and rocky headlands. We’ll have time to pause at strategic locations to admire the views and take photos. Later, we’ll continue on to visit Gabriel Kavanagh Farm where we’ll have the opportunity to see some sheepdogs work in their natural environment. This evening, you’re in for a treat as we head to Paidi O Se’s Pub to enjoy a classic Irish dinner together. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

September 25, 2025

This morning, we’ll drive into Listowel and stop at John B. Keane’s Bar, which is where the author wrote many of his famous masterpieces. While here, we’ll enjoy a cup of tea and freshly baked scones. Next, we’ll travel to Tarbert and take a short ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary. Then, we’ll travel along the coast of scenic County Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most beloved, natural landmarks, where you’ll see magical vistas overlooking the shimmering Atlantic Ocean along with Ireland’s Western coastline. We’ll continue on to Galway for a gentle walking tour of the city with a local guide. After, we’ll check into the luxurious Glenlo Abbey Hotel for the next two nights. This evening, we’ll dine together in the Abbey’s fine hotel restaurant. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Cliffs of Moher

September 26, 2025

This morning, we’ll pass through the Connemara Region to admire the sweeping views of boglands and misty mountains. As we drive along, we’ll see many sheep that graze freely and tracts of bogland where some people hand-cut peat for home heating. Next, we’ll embark on a cruise on Lough Corrib, which is the largest lake in the Republic of Ireland, measuring 68 square miles. With 365 islands, this lake is one of the cleanest in all of Europe. Later, we’ll continue on to visit Kylemore Abbey for a tour of the elegant mansion and church, set beside a tranquil lake. Learn the tales of tragedy, romance, and royal visits. You’ll also have time to walk through the magical Victorian walled garden. This evening, we’ll enjoy a spectacular dinner at Pullman’s Restaurant, located on the grounds of Glenlo Abbey Hotel. Prior to being a restaurant, the train car was featured in the Agatha Christie film, “Murder on the Orient Express.” (Breakfast and Dinner included).

This morning, we’ll journey north to visit Ballintubber Abbey, which is known as “the Abbey that refused to die.” The abbey has the unique status of being Ireland’s only royal Abbey, which has been in continuous use for more than 780 years. Later, we’ll travel into Belleek and stop to visit the Belleek Pottery Factory to see how skilled craftspeople form and decorate clay to produce delicate porcelain masterpieces. Next, we’ll head to Ardara to see demonstrations of spinning, weaving, and knitting at Triona Designs. Last, we’ll head to Derry to check into our rooms and prepare for this evening’s festivities. We’ll head to the Walled City Brewery, which has offered locally flavored craft and artisan beers for over a decade, to enjoy an authentic Irish dinner together. (Breakfast and Dinner included).

Today, we’ll join a local guide for a walking tour of Derry to see the Guildhall, St. Columb’s Cathedral, the Diamond and the 16th century walls. Next, we’ll travel to visit the Giant’s Causeway, an impressive area of hexagonal columns formed over 60 million years ago by cooling lava, which has given rise to many legends. We’ll continue our drive into Belfast where we’ll check into our hotel and then meet for dinner together at a local pub. (Breakfast and Dinner included).

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a guided tour of Belfast to view the political and religious murals scattered throughout the city, which tell the story of past and present. Next, we’ll set off with a local guide on a walking tour to see the Albert Memorial, Opera House, Crown Liquor Saloon, and many other buildings that are in the historic city center. The rest of the day and evening is yours for independent exploration and dining with your Sisters. (Breakfast included)

This morning, we’ll visit Titanic Belfast to learn about the evolution of the Titanic from concept until her ill-fated end in 1912. Next, we’ll journey to Long Meadow Cider to enjoy a tasting before having a wonderful picnic lunch together. After, we’ll travel into Kingscourt and check into the beautiful Cabra Castle Hotel. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy with your Sisters to experience what it’s like living as a “Landed Gentry”, while also surrounded by wonderful scenery and complete luxury. You may wish to play a round of golf, horseback ride, or even fish. There’s also tennis and archery available if they strike your fancy. This evening, we’ll gather together for a superb Farewell Dinner in Cabra Castle’s hotel restaurant. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included)

  • There will be a maximum of 21 Sisters including your Sisterhood Travels Group Leader. Roommate matching is available.
  • International airfare is not included in your pricing. You will fly roundtrip Dublin (DUB).
  • You can arrive at any time on September 19, 2025, and depart at any time on October 1, 2025.
  • Check-in time at our arrival hotel is at 3:00 pm.
  • All international flight arrangements must be submitted to Sisterhood Travels on or before June 1, 2025. If you need help making flight arrangements, or to submit your independent flight arrangements, please click here for Airfare Information.
  • Arrival transfers are provided only on September 19th from the Dublin airport to our hotel. Departure transfers are only provided on October 1st from our hotel to the Dublin airport. If you arrive or depart outside these days and times, or you’re needing transfers or hotels elsewhere, you are responsible for making your own arrangements at your own expense.
  • In Ireland and Northern Ireland, hotel rooms, especially single occupancy, are generally smaller than in the United States.
  • This tour requires the ability to walk without assistance and keep up with the group for up to 2 hours at a time, as well as travel on motor coaches, horse-drawn jaunting cars, boats, and ferries.
  • Please don’t schedule any optional excursions on your own for this trip, as we cannot promise that you will arrive in time at any location to make your independent excursion. Sisterhood Travels won’t be liable for any expense you incur because of this.
  • Individual gratuities for your Tour Director, local guides, and drivers are not included in your pricing. We will provide you with tipping guidelines for your trip.
  • Travel Insurance is highly recommended and is not included in your pricing. We will send you a quote via email.

Expect some early hotel departures, and limited time for day time rest and rejuvenation as the itineraries are designed to ensure that you see as much as possible in these wonderful destinations. This may include longer coach journeys and guests should be able to join a walking tour lasting 1-2 hours with stops possibly over uneven terrain. Guests should have reasonable health and mobility and be comfortable with standing for longer periods of time with no difficulty.
