Welcome to London! Upon arrival, your driver will meet you at the Arrivals Hall in the Heathrow airport and transfer you to our fabulously located hotel. You’ll have the rest of the day and evening to rest, relax, and rejuvenate. This evening, join your Group Leaders and new Sisters for an informal Meet & Greet at the incredible rooftop bar at our hotel. (No meals are included today)
Today, enjoy London independently with your Sisters and discover a metropolis that is both timeless and sophisticated. This evening, we’ll gather together at a modern English restaurant and kick off our adventure with a Welcome Dinner. (Dinner included)
There’s no better way to start our day than at the Tower of London, the iconic world heritage site steeped in a dark and fascinating history. After free time for lunch with your Sisters, a local expert will show us the exteriors of the most famous buildings, including Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Parliament, and Westminster Abbey on a two-hour walking tour. This evening is yours to enjoy with your Sisters. (Breakfast included)
Today, you’re in for a treat as we step into the formal world of the British Monarchy when we visit the stately and expansive Windsor Castle. His Majesty King Charles III uses Windsor as both a private home and as a Royal residence where formal duties of state are performed. Windsor’s 1,000 rooms comprise the largest inhabited castle in the world, dating back to the 1070’s when William the Conqueror built the original wooden structure. You’ll explore one of Britain’s most visited historic buildings, its precincts, and the State Apartments, which house a delightful collection of Royal art treasures. You’ll have free time for lunch with your Sisters in the quaint town of Windsor before we head back to London. (Breakfast included)
Today, we’ll take the local transport river bus along the River Thames en route to Greenwich to change up the view where the skyline looks spectacular from the water. On arrival, you’ll have plenty of free time to explore the attractions with your Sisters. Perhaps you’ll test your seafaring prowess onboard the Cutty Sark, a Victorian-style ship that served as a tea clipper. Or maybe you’ll take a walk through the park, up the steep hill to the Royal Observatory, the home of Greenwich Mean Time and stand on the famous Meridian Line. After, we’ll join a local guide for a walking culinary tour, sampling the best of the local eateries and foods of traditional and ethnic London. (Breakfast and Lunch included)
This morning, we’ll explore the birthplace of Queen Victoria, Kensington Palace. Home to the current Prince and Princess of Wales, we’ll be able to take a peek into the state apartments and the grounds of the Palace. The rest of the afternoon is yours to spend at your own leisurely pace with your Sisters before we meet this evening for a Farewell Dinner at a local Mediterranean restaurant. (Breakfast and Dinner included)
Sadly, our time together has come to an end. Depart with many wonderful memories and new best friends as our transfers take us to the London-Heathrow airport for our flights home. (Breakfast included).
