After landing at Dublin Airport and completing customs and immigration formalities, our Tour Guide and Driver will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Next, we’ll stop to have breakfast with our group at Man O’ War Restaurant and Pub, which has existed since 1595. Next, we’ll meet a local guide who will show us around Dublin. We’ll travel a short distance to our hotel, where you can check in and settle into your room. In the evening, we’ll join our Sisters for a welcome drink followed by dinner in the hotel restaurant. *Please see below for important information regarding our group transfers*

Leaving Dublin, we’ll travel south to see the delightful scenery of the Wicklow Mountains. We’ll stop to visit the 6th-century monastic ruins of Glendalough. The visitor center explains how St. Kevin founded this settlement at a time when Christianity was burgeoning throughout Ireland. Then, we’ll continue into Kilkenny and set off on a guided walking tour of the town. Our humorous and informative guide will show us many sites which help make stories about the past come to life. Later, we’ll transfer to our nearby hotel, where we’ll check in and enjoy some free time before dining in the hotel restaurant together as a group.

This morning, we’ll journey into Cobh and set off on a guided walking tour known as the Titanic Trail, which will show us around the streets of the town. The tour reveals locations and incidents directly connected to the Titanic and many other aspects of the port’s history. Next, we’ll drive into Blarney, where you can climb the battlements of Blarney Castle and kiss the famous “Stone of Eloquence.” Then, we’ll visit the Blarney Woollen Mills, which has an excellent range of Irish products. You will also have time to browse around the village, charmingly set around a large village green. Later, we’ll continue into Tralee and check into our hotel. Tonight, we’ll gather together in the hotel restaurant for a delicious meal.

Today, we’ll explore the Ring of Kerry, which consists of over 100 miles of marvelous scenery. We’ll see some of Ireland’s highest peaks on one side of the road and a coastline scattered with golden beaches and rocky headlands on the other. There will also be plenty of stops to take in the scenery and snap photos. We’ll continue our travel into the Gap of Dunloe to visit Moriarty’s Gift Shop. Since the shop opened in 1964, Moriarty’s has become a landmark destination for shoppers. Then, we’ll head to a local venue to enjoy lunch with our Sisters. After, we’ll drive along Moll’s Gap, a panoramic route visited by thousands of tourists yearly. Later, we’ll return to our hotel in Tralee, where the rest of the day is free for independent activities and dining.

This morning, we’ll depart Tralee as we journey into Tarbert and take a short ferry across the River Shannon Estuary. Next, we’ll drive along the coast of scenic County Clare and stop to visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most beloved natural landmarks. We’ll see magical vistas overlooking the shimmering Atlantic Ocean along with Ireland’s Western coastline. After, we’ll continue into Galway and join a local guide for a gentle walking tour of the city. See the medieval city walls, Lynch’s Castle, and the narrow streets. Then, we’ll drive a short distance to our hotel and settle into our rooms. Tonight, we’ll dine with our Sisters in the hotel restaurant.

This morning, we’ll travel through the Connemara Region to admire the sweeping views of the bog lands and misty mountains. As we drive along, you will see many sheep that graze freely and tracts of bogland where some people hand-cut peat for home heating. We’ll stop to visit Kylemore Abbey for a tour of the elegant mansion and church beside a tranquil lake. Learn of the tales of tragedy, romance, and royal visits. Also, take some time to walk through the magical Victorian walled garden. Afterward, we’ll continue to a local venue to enjoy a delightful cup of afternoon tea and a fine assortment of pastries to snack on with our group. Later, we’ll return to our hotel, where the rest of your day and evening is at leisure.

Leaving Galway this morning, we’ll journey to visit Atlantic Sheepdogs, where we’ll have the opportunity to experience farm life and see some of the world’s smartest sheepdogs working in their natural environment. Next, we’ll travel via Donegal and into Ardara to see spinning, weaving, and knitting demonstrations at Triona Designs. Then, we’ll drive into Derry and join a local guide for a walking tour to see the Guildhall, St. Columb’s Cathedral, the Diamond, and the 16th-century walls. Later, we’ll transfer to our nearby hotel and enjoy the rest of the day and evening exploring and dining independently with our Sisters.

After breakfast, we’ll visit the Giant’s Causeway, an impressive area of hexagonal columns formed over 60 million years ago by cooling lava, giving rise to many legends. Then, we’ll drive into Belfast and stop to visit Titanic Belfast to learn about the evolution of the Titanic from concept until her ill-fated end in 1912. After our visit, we’ll continue our journey back into Dublin, where we’ll check into our hotel and enjoy some free time to relax or freshen up before tonight’s festivities.
This evening, you’re in for a treat as we enjoy dinner at the Glyde Inn, which also offers breathtaking views of Dundalk Bay.

Today is yours to do as you please. Spend the day at leisure in Dublin, where you can choose from a wide variety of pursuits. Use your Hop On-Hop Off pass to visit a number of places. Also using your voucher, you may visit either EPIC Ireland, the General Post Office, the Guinness Storehouse or Teeling Distillery. If you choose to visit EPIC Ireland, learn about the celebratory dramatic story of the spread of Irish culture around the globe, and how Ireland has changed throughout the years. If you decide to visit the General Post Office on O’Connell Street, learn about its role in the Easter Rising and how it was left in ruins. Finally, if you choose to visit the Guinness Storehouse or Teeling Distillery, enjoy a tour of the distillery and a tasting of the finished product. Tonight, you may like to dine in one of the many restaurants or pubs that Dublin has to offer with your Sisters.
