1 Welcome to Iceland2027-09-01
Welcome to the Land of Fire and Ice! Upon arrival at Keflavík International Airport, you’ll be met by your driver and transferred to The Black Pearl Luxury Apartments, our elegant home in the heart of Reykjavík for the next six nights.
Although check-in begins later this afternoon, your luggage can be securely stored while you begin discovering Iceland’s charming capital. Perfectly situated near the historic Old Harbor, The Black Pearl places you within easy walking distance of cozy cafés, boutique shops, waterfront strolls, and some of Reykjavík’s best restaurants.
Once your luxurious private suite is ready, settle in and make yourself at home before joining your fellow Sisters for a Welcome Dinner at one of Stacey’s favorite local restaurants. Casual, welcoming, and full of authentic Icelandic flavor, it’s the perfect place to get to know one another as we begin an unforgettable week of wellness, relaxation, and discovery.
2 A Day to Exhale2027-09-02
After breakfast, we’ll leave the city behind and journey to one of Iceland’s most spectacular wellness destinations… Hvammsvík Hot Springs.
Nestled along the shores of the breathtaking Hvalfjörður Fjord, Hvammsvík is unlike any geothermal spa in Iceland. Here, nature takes center stage as eight natural hot springs and one ocean-fed pool blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, allowing you to soak in mineral-rich geothermal waters while gazing across the dramatic mountains and tranquil fjord. As the tides ebb and flow, the experience changes throughout the day, making every visit uniquely Icelandic.
When you’re ready, the welcoming Stormur Bistro overlooks the water and offers a thoughtfully curated menu celebrating fresh Icelandic ingredients. From their renowned Icelandic seafood soup to beautifully prepared seasonal dishes, it’s the perfect place to linger over lunch while taking in the spectacular views.
Later this afternoon, we’ll return to Reykjavík, leaving the evening free to explore, enjoy dinner at one of the city’s wonderful restaurants, or simply relax in the comfort of your luxurious suite.
3 Reykjavik and an Evening at Sky Lagoon2027-09-03
This morning, discover the charm and character of Reykjavík during a leisurely guided walking tour of the world’s northernmost capital. As we stroll through the city’s colorful streets, you’ll explore many of its most beloved landmarks, including the historic Old Harbour, the striking Harpa Concert Hall, Parliament Square, City Hall, the peaceful Reykjavík Pond, and the iconic Hallgrímskirkja Church, whose dramatic architecture has become a symbol of Iceland itself.
After our lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy with your Sisters. As the day begins to wind down, we’ll head to Sky Lagoon, one of Iceland’s most spectacular geothermal spas. Perched dramatically along the North Atlantic coastline, Sky Lagoon seamlessly blends modern luxury with centuries-old Icelandic bathing traditions.

Maybe you’ll discover another geothermal spa, enjoy a long lunch, curl up with a good book, or simply relax in the comfort of your luxurious suite.

5 Iceland's Greatest Wonders and Geothermal Bliss2027-09-05
Today, we’ll venture beyond Reykjavík to experience some of Iceland’s most extraordinary natural treasures along the legendary Golden Circle. Accompanied by our private driver-guide, you’ll discover the breathtaking landscapes and remarkable geology that have made Iceland one of the world’s most captivating destinations.
Our journey begins at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates slowly drift apart, creating one of the only places on Earth where you can walk between two continents. We’ll continue to the famous Geysir geothermal area, where bubbling hot springs and erupting geysers showcase the incredible power simmering beneath Iceland’s surface, before standing in awe of the magnificent Gullfoss Waterfall, one of the country’s most iconic and breathtaking natural wonders.
Midday brings one of Iceland’s most memorable dining experiences at Friðheimar, an extraordinary family-owned tomato greenhouse where tomatoes flourish year-round thanks to Iceland’s geothermal energy. Our day concludes with a visit to the beautiful Laugarás Lagoon, one of Iceland’s newest geothermal retreats. 6 A Day to Simply Be2027-09-06
Today is another gift…a day with nowhere you have to be and every opportunity to enjoy Reykjavík exactly as you choose. After breakfast, the city is yours to explore at your own pace. Wander through charming boutiques along Laugavegur, visit museums and galleries, discover another neighborhood café, return to your favorite geothermal spa, stroll the picturesque harbor, or simply relax in your luxurious suite with a good book and a cup of coffee.
For those who would like some “sweet” company, Stacey will be spending part of the afternoon at one of her favorite Reykjavík spots, Apótek Dessert Café. Feel free to join her as her guest for coffee, dessert, and great conversation. There’s no agenda, no reservations, and no pressure…just a chance to gather, share stories, and enjoy one of the city’s sweetest traditions together.
This evening, we’ll come together once again for an unforgettable dining experience at the acclaimed Grillmarkaðurinn (Grillmarket). Renowned for its innovative approach to Icelandic cuisine, tonight’s tasting menu showcases the very best local ingredients, thoughtfully paired with exceptional wines in one of Reykjavík’s most celebrated restaurants. It’s the perfect way to celebrate another wonderful day in Iceland.
7 The Grand Finale: The Retreat at Blue Lagoon2027-09-07
This morning, we’ll bid farewell to Reykjavík and journey through Iceland’s dramatic volcanic landscape to one of the world’s most celebrated wellness destinations… The Retreat at Blue Lagoon Iceland. To make the most of this extraordinary experience, we’ve arranged an extended spa day before our overnight stay. Later, we’ll transfer to Keflavík International Airport for your flight home. Activity Level: 3-Moderate
This luxurious Iceland escape has been intentionally designed with a relaxed pace, generous free time, and an emphasis on wellness rather than strenuous sightseeing. However, travelers should have good balance and mobility and be comfortable walking on varied surfaces, navigating wet environments, and independently entering and exiting geothermal pools and lagoons. While the pace is leisurely, the physical requirements of Iceland's natural landscapes and geothermal experiences make this a Moderate Level 3 journey.
Walking and Standing
Walking is generally moderate and is broken up throughout the day. Reykjavík sightseeing includes a leisurely guided walking tour through the city, and the Golden Circle requires walking from parking areas to viewpoints and attractions at Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area, and Gullfoss Waterfall. Free days allow you to determine your own level of activity. Travelers should be comfortable walking for periods of approximately 30 to 60 minutes at a time and standing during sightseeing.
Terrain and Physical Considerations
Iceland's natural attractions can involve uneven pathways, gravel, inclines, steps, and surfaces that may become wet or slippery due to rain, mist, or geothermal activity. At Þingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss, and other outdoor locations, travelers should be able to navigate these conditions independently and maintain their balance without assistance.
Geothermal Spas and Lagoons
Geothermal bathing is a major part of this journey, with experiences at Hvammsvík Hot Springs, Sky Lagoon, Laugarás Lagoon, and The Retreat at Blue Lagoon. Travelers should be sufficiently agile to independently enter and exit pools and lagoons, which may involve steps, submerged steps, handrails, changing water depths, and wet or slippery surfaces. At Hvammsvík in particular, the natural hot springs are integrated into the rocky shoreline and offer a more natural bathing environment than a traditional swimming pool. The various spa rituals may also require moving between warm lagoons, cold-water experiences, steam rooms, treatment areas, and relaxation spaces. Participation in individual spa experiences and wellness rituals is always at your discretion, but travelers should be comfortable navigating spa and changing facilities independently.
Transportation and Touring
This tour is based primarily in Reykjavík, with six consecutive nights at the Black Pearl Luxury Apartments, significantly reducing the physical demands associated with frequent packing and hotel changes. Day trips outside Reykjavík involve travel by private vehicle with sightseeing stops along the way. The Golden Circle is the fullest touring day of the itinerary, while several other days include substantial leisure time.

Arrivals & Departures▾
International airfare is not included in your pricing. You will fly roundtrip Reykjavik (KEF)
We recommend that you arrive no later than 9:00 am on September 1, 2027, and you can depart at any time after 3:00 pm on September 8, 2027.
Check-in time at our arrival hotel is at 3:00 pm.
All international flight arrangements must be submitted to Sisterhood Travels on or before July 1, 2027. If you need help making flight arrangements, or to submit your independent flight arrangements, please click here for Airfare Information.
Arrival transfers are provided only on September 1, 2027, from the Keflavik airport to the Black Pearl. Departure transfers are only provided on September 8, 2027, from The Retreat to the Keflavik airport. If you arrive or depart outside these days and times, or you’re needing transfers or hotels elsewhere, you are responsible for making your own arrangements at your own expense.
Entry Requirements▾
Complete valid passport information is required on or before June 1, 2027. You are required to travel with a passport that is valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the date of your return. If you fail to submit your complete and accurate information on time, we cannot guarantee your travel arrangements, and you will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.
If you are traveling through the United Kingdom, an ETA will be required for entry, even as a transit passenger. Applications are accepted online, at the approximate cost of £10, subject to change based on governing authority. For more information please click here.
You will be required to obtain an ETIAS tourist visa for travel within the European Union. This will become effective for all travel sometime in 2027. Applications are not yet available, but we will notify you when it is time to apply electronically. For more information please click here.

Gratuities for your local guides and drivers are not included in your pricing. We will provide you with tipping guidelines for your trip.
Travel Insurance with Cancel for Any Reason coverage is strongly recommended and is not included in your pricing. We will send you a quote via email.
Any optional expenses or expenses related to anything not specifically listed in this itinerary are not included.
Please don’t schedule any optional excursions on your own for this trip as we cannot promise that you will arrive in time at any location to make your independent excursion. Sisterhood Travels won’t be liable for any expense you incur because of this.
